Having read the other reviews for these bars, I'll admit I set my expectations fairly low. I needn't have worried though, as I really like them. It's true to say that they don't taste like regular Bounty bars at all, and the texture/consistency is also incredibly different but, of course, that's always going to be the case when swapping a high-protein version of a product for the regular one. The first time I tried one, I was somewhat confused by the texture; the firmness/density of the bars wasn't what I expected at all. That said, I got used to it very quickly after a few bites, and feel that they taste more like coconut caramels with a chocolate coating, rather than Bounty bars (in a good way). They're very chewy and incredibly filling; I'm glad they still come in two parts, like the originals . They're great when I'm in need of a quick, high-protein, pre- or post-gym workout snack, or when I'm feeling hungry between meals, as the protein fills me up nicely (and, of course, keeps me feeling fuller for longer) without adding a large number of "empty calories". I've also found that they don't cause me to have a large sugar spike, which can also be a downside to having protein snacks as sweet as these are. I'm halfway through my box, and I already plan to buy another one when I get close to finishing this one. If you're looking for something with the same taste and mouthfeel as original Bounty bars, there's every chance you'll dislike them. However, if you think you'd like coconut flavoured caramel bars dipped in chocolate, then you'll love these!

Pretty great! I think the reviews saying "they taste just like a regular Bounty!" are slightly misleading. Flavour-wise, they really do taste much the same, but the texture is quite different. These are very chewy. Somewhere between a Bounty texture and a toffee texture. But they're really growing on me and, if you don't mind a chewy bar, they're really rather nice!

Would've been my new favourite protein bar then I realised they contain 'collagen hydrolysate': powdered cow hide/bone despite the ad. clearly stating 'suitable for Vegetarians'! Hopefully that will be amended & next time I'll cross-check, more wary of misleading blurb. They DO taste like Bounty but with a different texture, more like a Milky Way - Obviously not exactly same as 'normal' Bounty because it's a different product-! A protein bar; if you want a 'normal' Bounty just buy those instead. Same crunchy coconut bits & also in 2 parts like 'normal' Bounty - very handy & somehow makes me feel less greedy for eating a full bar at once, tho' it's the same amount. But the main Bounty difference for me is it not being Vegetarian; shame as otherwise they're fab! & I would've bought many more. I'm donating these to my silly relative who doesn't believe powdered cow bits count as not Vegetarian :/

They taste okay, but I’m not entirely sure I’d buy them again. I was really expecting the flavor to be more similar to the actual Bounty chocolate bar, with that rich coconut filling and smooth chocolate coating. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The coconut flavor was a bit too subtle, and the chocolate coating didn’t have that familiar creamy, indulgent taste that makes Bounty so satisfying. While it’s not bad, it felt like a bit of a letdown, especially if you’re craving that true Bounty experience. It’s not a terrible option, but I think I’ll stick with the original next time.

These taste about as much like a bounty as a deep fried egg.Hardly any coconut but some sort of chemical tasting caramel and very high in saturated fats infact on of these is 25% of your RDA of sat fats!! Wheres the coconut??

If you are craving bounty, this aint’it. It tastes ok. Very chewy and sticky interior and lacks that classic coconut bounty taste.

These aren't bad by any means. They're pretty darn delicious with great macros and no sugar alcohols. But it doesn't taste like Bounty at all. Very very little coconut. And the chewiness is out of this world -- one bar and your jaw will get a good workout. I'd buy them for a regular protein bar price but not at this cost. Seller Christopher-Parker is great though.
