Streamlight 69400 TLR-7 X sub 500-Lumen
The Streamlight 69400 TLR-7 X sub 500 performed reliably and was easy to install on my firearm. Its compact size and secure fit make it an excellent choice for concealed carry or home defense setups. The controls are intuitive, and the build quality feels solidโdefinitely up to Streamlightโs usual standards. However, I do wish the light were a bit brighter. While it does the job for most close-range situations, having a higher lumen output would make it even better, especially for outdoor use or larger spaces. Overall, itโs a good weapon light that works well, but if maximum brightness is your top priority, you may want to consider other options.

Great little light
Seems to be holding up well. Very bright.looks good Fitment/mounting is excellent as long as you know what it actually fits if that makes sense. Battery life is excellent.i would consider it a good value. It is pricy.but quality usually is.

Nice Gun Light
This light fits perfect (with the #5 key) on my Springfield Hellcat. It also works good on my Echelon. Sits even with the end of the muzzle on both guns. So, Iโll be buying another one for the Echelon. The light is bright and I really like the strobe feature.

Good light just in case.
Fits my springfield hellcat pro perfectly. Bright, with a good throw. Hold the switch for momentary light or tap for it to stay on. The extra weight even made my gun shoot a bit flatter. I don't know how long the battery last as I will only need it for a few minutes. (Hopefully never) I do change the batter every month or so to be safe.

It's BRIGHT and easy to install. Pricey. But not as pricey as others.
I bought this light for a G48 MOS lower with a rail. What I like about this combination is that the light is easy to put on and take off for whatever the need is. When dismounted it make a dandy flashlight and is brighter than my other stand alone lights. I have a TLR-6 with a laser for a G43x. I like that a lot, especially because it has a laser. The one drawback with that light is that it is not designed to put on and take off regularly and if the laser is zeroed we don't want to disturb that. The 7 sub might be TOO BRIGHT for certain indoor situations. You don't want to blind yourself in an encounter with light reflecting off the walls or going from deep darkness to very very bright. That's up to you. I find the TLR-6's 100 lumens adequate and the 7 sub more than bright enough. I'm glad it isn't any brighter. One other thing... I thought that having the 7-sub attached when carrying would be more uncomfortable with the extra bulk. It is not. I find it very comfortable and the holster is wide enough that a claw isn't needed, at least for the holster I have for it. The sad thing is that it is MUCH more expensive than it was a year or two ago as is the TLR-6. As a comparison, I bought a 6 about 2 years ago for $88. Today it's $113, a 22% increase in price. I suspect the Sub-7 underwent a similar price increase, at $131. The price is the only real negative that I can submit and IMO should be under $100. But caveat emptor. It's up to you if it's worth it. Obviously I chose it in spite of the price.

Best weapon light
The TLR-7 Sub delivers exceptional performance in a compact package specifically engineered for the P365 platform. The 500-lumen output provides excellent target identification while maintaining a profile that doesn't extend beyond the muzzle. The beam pattern offers good spread for close-range situations while maintaining enough throw for longer distances. The mounting system is precisely machined for the P365/XL rail, providing rock-solid attachment with zero wiggle or loosening under recoil. The controls are ambidextrous and easy to manipulate with either hand, though they're positioned to prevent accidental activation. Battery life is impressive, and the low-battery warning gives plenty of advance notice. Construction quality is outstanding - the aluminum housing and impact-resistant lens have proven durable through extensive use. The IPX7 waterproof rating isn't just marketing; this light handles inclement conditions without issue. The switch design provides both momentary and constant-on options with positive tactile feedback. One minor consideration is that the battery compartment requires removal for changes, though this is a reasonable trade-off for maintaining waterproof integrity. The price reflects the quality of materials and engineering, but it's justified by the reliability and performance. For P365/XL owners seeking a dedicated weapon light, this purpose-built solution is hard to beat.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Just a touch too big
Great super bright light. But if youโre looking for a weapon light for a standard 365 itโs gonna stick out about half an inch from the muzzle. But otherwise itโs a great light.

Small, bright and flexible
I was seeking a firearm light that was flexible in mounting options and that would not extend past the barrel end on smaller pistols. This TLR-7 is perfect. Some of my firearms donโt have a traditional rail and have no locking notch. Fortunately this light has a removable locking lug and it fits those firearms perfectly. In the package you also get a variety of locking lugs for different rail types. At 500 lumens, the brightness is perfect for the use case as I am not trying to light up a football field.
