Surprisingly great doors!
These doors arrived today and I just finished the installation. I figured I'd provide some feedback on the install since other reviews had occasional issues. First off I have to say that these doors are robust. The welding is nice and clean and everything is straight and put together nicely. Assembly wasn't that difficult, and I did notice my box had instructions in it but I didn't see them until the end after I already figured everything out. In total, including a test drive to check for rattling, it took me about 1.5 hours to complete. I didn't have to re-drill any holes like some other reviews did. For the assembly, there are two different length bolts as well as two different length straps for the doors. The short bolts go in the top hinges, and the longer bolts are used for the bottom hinges since you also bolt the straps down there. The longer straps are used on the back doors and the short strap for the front. Once you put the doors on the Jeep you will have to adjust the latches so that they work properly and to avoid rattling. It took me a bit to find a good system, but eventually I found what worked best for me was to loosen only one bolt at a time, adjust, tighten, test, repeat. Eventually I found the sweet spots for each door to stop the rattling, though I'm contemplating putting some tape around the hooks on the Jeep for a tighter fit. I'm just not sure if this would affect the OEM doors from closing properly so that's a test for another day. As far as the paint, it isn't the best but it is still nice. There are some spots where I can see the paint chipped off, but I'll just go around with some black touch up paint to cover those areas. I don't plan to have these out in the rain so rust isn't a worry for me. I'm happy that these doors have mirrors. Previously when I would go door less I had mirrors that would attach to the A-Pillars. These were annoying to adjust all the time, and would get in the way of the cover I would put on the Jeep overnight, so I opted to just not have any side mirrors at all. From initial looks these mirrors will work just fine. One small thing to note is that the hinge pins for these doors are threaded, and the OEM screws work to secure them to the hinges. I just put in an order for a set of McGard door locks as some peace of mind to avoid someone just walking up and throwing these in their vehicle. Overall I'm quite satisfied with these doors so far. They are less than half the cost of tube doors from other big name manufacturers, and work just fine. Spending a little extra time to do some adjustments is worth the cost savings. If I run into any issues with these down the line I'll be sure to update this review.

Great looking doors, very affordable, instructions lacking
I get a lot of compliments on these door, great price and great looking. Instructions are horrible so here are my pointers. M8 1.25x20mm bolts go on top hinges M8 1.25x25mm go on bottom hinges Mirrors are M6 bolts Long retaining straps go on the back doors Short retaining straps go on the front doors All hardware is silver, if you want black bolt and nuts either paint them or order them off Amazon (I couldn't find black hardware locally) Installing the hinges is simple just two pointers, make sure you don't rub on the body and watch for the latch mechanism screws rubbing again the striker plate of the door jam. Door rattle: there are some videos out there that explain how to adjust the door latch, I found them and it makes it easy but here are the steps. The latch are two lock system the close the door slowly and you will hear a click then close it farther and it will click again. that is what you are wanting the double latch and those that complain about door rattle probably aren't adjusted for the double lock 1) Adjust your door latch as far from the door towards the inside of the jeep and take the rubber bumper off. 2) close the door slowly and listen for both clicks. 3) put the rubber stopper on and close, does it double click? if so and there is play open the door and slightly move the latch further to the outside of the jeep. tighten and repeat until it is snug against the frame and still double locks 4) if you have it adjusted all the way in and it does not double latch then take some sandpaper to the rubber stop and grind it down a bit until it latches correctly and is still snug. Thats about it, great doors for a great price

Great Tube Doors. No issues whatsoever ever.
Everything about these doors are great. Price, sturdiness, looks...and on and on. Read alot of reviews before I purchased and I'm glad to say I didn't experience any of those issues. Sure you have to take your time to adjust so they fit right but that goes for doors that cost 4 to 5 times more than these. Just take your time and they will fit just right. Really don't need instructio no For these doors, pretty much like putting a 8 year olds puzzle together. Either it fits or it doesn't and you need to find the place it fits to. Not rocket science. Painted to match and love the look. I would definitely recommend these to anyone one looking for a good set of tube doors. Mirrors are a great addition also.

Buying a used product???
I bought a used/returned product and was initially disappointed when I opened the box. It was poorly repackaged, missing parts, scratched up, torn up instructions sheet. I saved $150 off the purchase price, so I was like, I'm just returning it. I pulled out the half destroyed instructions and looked at the parts list. Decided to give it a shot as I did not want to wait another month to return and receive new box since this weekend was going to be amazing weather (and it was). I went to Ace Hardware and bought $20 in missing hardware nuts/bolts/washers/etc. A can of flat black touch up paint and mini paint brushes. (get 3-4 tiny ones). I watched all the videos on how to install, not install, (Thank you to you all that did this, very helpful) and started the process. My wife was excited to get the doors off and try the new look, so she jumped in an helped me. So glad she did as it really made things go faster and easier. The discovered that my 2007 Jeep Wrangler did not come with the Tool Kit to take the doors off!!! So, another $27 at the local Jeep Dealer. (Yes, I could have bought the tools at a big box store, but I just wanted to make sure it was exactly what I needed. The Jeep tool pouch was cool and the Dealer gave me a nice Jeep Hat for 1/2 price. :) ) Now things started to roll after getting everything i needed in place. Once we started the "official process" of removing doors and installing the new EAG Doors, it took about 1.5 hours. My install went smooth and adjustments were easy to get the doors to snug up tightly with no rattles. 4-5 minutes per door and it was solid. I took the advice from one of the review videos and cut small plastic tubes that I placed on the receiver door hinge attached to the jeep. Helps with tightening up the door and also keeps it from rattling. Once we had it installed, I sprayed small amounts of paint into a little cup. Dabbed the small brush into the flat black paint and touched up all of the silver nuts/bolts/washers to black. Looks awesome was fun doing. Hope that helps everyone....really super happy with the final product. My advice to EAG....1. Get hardware finished in black. Can't imagine that would cost a lot more and would really separate your product from others. Just looks nice finished. Or add a small bottle/can of paint (and brush) that matches the power coat paint used. Also is nice to have to touch the doors up from scratches, etc. 2. Offer "door tools" or at least advise the buyer that your kit does not come with it and you will need to get separately in order to remove the existing doors. 3. Plastic door tabs (?) for the install and adjustment process. Helps to quiet the doors up a bit.

Pretty good doors.
Doors are sturdy. Instructions are wrong. Long bolts go in bottoms of all doors, not all in front doors. Difference between 2 upper and 6 lower hinges are obvious. That's good. HOWEVER, IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHETHER LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE!!! It was like a jigsaw puzzle. I finally had to take one door off my jeep to figure out the jigsaw puzzle. It would have been a lot easier if they had stamped RR (right, rear) or "LF" (left front) on each piece so you would only have to do this once! I've got everything assembled but haven't put them on jeep yet as we are expecting 3 days of rain. I don't think it'll be hard to make the adjustments needed to get a great closing and rattle free fit but we shall see. UPDATE: I installed and adjusted the doors. Passenger side rear and drivers side front I had to adjust the stock hinge on the door a little to stop any rattle. Everything is great!!!!!!

Excellent doors! Glad I made the purchase!
Sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes you get less than what you paid for, but in the case of these doors and mirrors..... Sometimes you get more than you paid for! These doors are very well put together and add a great look to the already bada$$ Jeep Wrangler. Some reviewers have expressed dissatisfaction with the rattle that these doors produce. Some have attempted to fix the problem with tape on the latch, or hard plastic tubing (great idea) but let me tell you that if you just take the time to properly adjust the latch mechanism you will eliminate nearly all rattle. It will take some time but well worth it. I read a few reviews that trashed the mirrors that come with the set. One reviewer in particular said they were useless because you couldn't adjust them and due to his height, he couldn't see anything but the back of his Jeep. Not sure what he was doing, or if he received a different set, but the ones I received are perfect, and adjustable. I think I like them better than the stock mirrors (not saying much). Overall, I am extremely pleased with these doors and glad I made the purchase!

Perfect fit. Quality product.
These fit perfect. When I initially put the door on the hinges, prior to final adjustment, I was frustrated thinking they wouldn't fit, the door didn't close. Take your time with the adjustments, and they are perfect. In the attached pictures, the circled area, is a rub mark from a door latch screw striking the door frame. In my opinion, this is normal. This occurs from the force of swinging the door closed into the strike plate. Regarding a small rattle from the strike latch. I applied a small section of clear vinyl tubing, as pictured. It's incredible, no rattle after that. These doors are solid and perfect. The mirrors stay put in the wind, tested up to 80mph. No issues.

Terrible customer service for faulty product.
I'll try to make this short and to the point. I received my tube doors almost instantly, which was great, and I was eager to get them together. All the parts were in the box and even a detailed instruction sheet. After getting them together, all the doors but one seems to latch good. Very little rattling. The door I initially had an issue with was the back left door (behind the drivers seat) it latched too hard. It had zero wiggle room, and therefore once the door was shut, it couldn't be opened unless you have your own personal Hulk to muscle it open. There was no way to open this door using the latch handle. Only exit point was to climb over it, Dukes of Hazard style, if anyone wants to exit the Jeep. Which I guess could be cool, except not really wanting to chance my friends getting a hard face plant of the ground simply by exiting a vehicle. So, after having these tube doors on for just a day, I decided to remove them, so I could also possibly adjust the issue with the initial door. But then, as I was removing the doors, issues #2 arose when the "door hinge bolt" from the rear door, right side, behind the front passenger seat, snapped in 1\2. Breaking off completely. The remaining 1\2 of this hinge bolt was now jammed inside my door bolt nut, which now became issue #3. Trying to remove the broken piece only furthers my problems, as it has stripped the inside threads and now my own OEM door nut was no longer usable. Meaning, I cannot even reattach the Jeep door back on, as it will be missing one of the two door bolt nut thing. Welcome issue #4 Called Amazon and they were ready to send me an entire new set, but I explained that it was really only 2 doors that had (separate) issues, not all 4 doors. So they suggested I speak with the manufacturer/vendor/seller because Amazon doesn't have "parts". So I called the vendor, Vicious Off Road. I spoke to Colin Anderson, who initially seemed perplexed at how this happened. He also stated that he would check to see if they could send another door hinge, and compensate me for the damaged door bolt nut and he would also check to see if they could send me an entire new left sided rear tube door to help with the issue I mentioned earlier. The following day, when Colin got back to me, he stated I would have to go through Amazon and there was both they could do. They refused to compensate me with either a new set of door bolt nuts even though the damage to those was completely due to a faulty door hinge from their tube door product. So called back Amazon and they were great. Shipped me out an entire new door kit, AND a brand new set of my Jeep door bolt nuts. I have to start adjusting the new doors all over again, and ship back the damaged ones ... But at least now I know that I will never do business with Vicious Off Road again. Horrible horrible. Terrible customer service and has no desire to make right what went wrong. I will try an upload pics, for some reason the pic upload option is not working so, I'll have to try again. Just be careful when taking these off, and remember the vendor won't help at all.
