It gets so annoying not to mention embarrassing since i can't even wear them out of the house now. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars defective and pathetic customer service *by J***Z on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2008* I bought these headphones (not from Amazon) and they were defective with sound playing in only one ear. I tried to contact Everglide several times by email (good luck finding a phone number for them...) and got no response. In fact, the email address for warranty issues they have online doesn't even work and gets a bounce message from Mailer-Daemon! I've written several times to all the other contact emails listed and never gotten any response from the company regarding the defective headphones.The headphones may or may not be good -- I don't judge them by the fact that I happened to get a defective pair -- but one thing is for sure: their customer service is terrible. To me, that enough of a reason to stay away.EDIT: After several weeks and probably at least a dozen emails, I finally got a response! They are sending me a new pair of replacement headphones and gave me a pre-paid shipping label to return the defective pair to them. I don't seem to be able to change my star rating anymore, but this has improved my opinion of Everglide a great deal. Still, it really shouldn't have taken so long nor required quite so much persistence on my part. I'd bump my rating to 3 stars if I could... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly decent sound in an decent (if ugly) package *by C***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 14, 2008* Having some experience with a variety of headphones (everything from the lousy stock ipod earbuds to my Sennheiser hd580's), I can honestly say that in my opinion, these have a decent sound, gaming or otherwise. As with many gaming headphones, the bass takes center stage with these. Mids and highs can occasionally seem a bit 'covered' sound-wise, but rap and rock has a good, powerful punch. My few experiences gaming with them were also positive.Looking at the physical product, one major asset is the light weight. The visually bulky size belies a comfortable, light headphone. Finally, Everglide included a microphone in the package (which I have yet to test). It seems unnecessary, but considering the low overall price (I found these for around $25) it is a welcome inclusion, as is the included headphone bag.One major complaint I have with them is their styling. Yes, these aren't headphones you'd take around with you to the gym, but the logo looks ugly and is unnecessarily large on the sides, as do two small wires on each side right above the earpiece. Similarly, the construction of the headphone seems on the cheaper side (although I have yet to experience a problem). My one other major qualm with these is that they do not isolate all that well, despite being closed headphones, anything above moderate volume can be heard by those around you.Summarizing this up: I'd overall rate these 3.5 stars.
