Shoyo Hinata is out to prove that in volleyball you don't need to be tall to fly! Ever since he saw the legendary player known as “the Little Giant” compete at the national volleyball finals, Shoyo Hinata has been aiming to be the best volleyball player ever! Who says you need to be tall to play volleyball when you can jump higher than anyone else? After proving themselves to be the ultimate combination in their practice match against Kei Tsukishima, Kageyama and Hinata are finally allowed to join the club! Hinata’s true power—to perfectly time his spikes with his eyes closed—is awakened, and nothing can seem to stop this crazy setter-spiker duo. Now their skills are about to be put to the test at a practice game against one of Kageyama’s former teammates from middle school, Tohru Oikawa. Review: Great book - Is as described. Good read Review: Fantastic Volleyball Fight Against Aoba Johsai - After the excellent series start in Volume 1, Volume 2 picks up right at the most intense moment of the intrateam 3-on-3 match. The attempts of the freak duo to seamlessly connect consistently provides endless joy. Perhaps the best moment of this was when their attempts succeeded completely leaving Tsukishima and some of the other players speechless. There is something special with the writing of this manga that makes even little moments like these leaving the reader feeling good. The rest of the volume focuses on the first Karasuno match against an outside team. Aoba Johsai, which ends up translated as Blue Castle, provides entertainment with their first years taking on three of the first years introduced in the 3-on-3 match. The battle stays pretty close due to Hinata's endless struggles with nervousness resulting in perhaps the funniest reaction moments in the entire volume. No spoilers but it is just completely unforgettable. Haikyu!! continues to introduce lovable characters on both Karasuno but also on the other teams like Aoba Johsai. It was an excellent volume highlighting great and easy to follow volleyball action. Additionally new terminology is introduce and defined in a way that makes it accessible and approachable to any person who may not have formal volleyball experience. Extras remain as barren as most other Viz Shonen Jump volumes, however sketches in between chapters are included as well as character profiles. One nice thing is a bonus omake involving Tanaka.

Deadchi
Sooo good recommend a hundred percent, the only thing is that I expected it to come wrapped in plastic as some mangas usually are so there’s is no damage but the cover wasn’t wrinkled or anything just a little folded still came in perfect condition so you should buy it
