It took some getting accustomed to, shape and weight wise. It is great to have extended battery life on board. I purchased a reconditioned model, and it works great.I did drop this once and it protected my phone. The case slightly banged apart, but I just snapped it back into place. So, it really does protect.I have three complaints which is why I subtract a star.1. The on/off sound switch does not work. I have to remove the case to turn sound back on.2. The headphone jack needs an adapter. No thanks. Solved this by getting Bluetooth earbuds.3. I have to remove the base to connect the phone to my car to listen to music while driving, as the USB connector is unique to the case.Minor annoyances really. It can get us through the day now with fairly moderate to heavy usage where the original iPhone 4s battery would be looking to be charged half way through the day. We've had them well over two months and they keep taking a full charge and doing thier jobs well, recharging the iphone 4s to full capacity again from 20%. They're smart looking and add a bit of heft to the phone overall making it easy to hang onto and will fit in my phone holster easily which is a plus. They add just a bit of how thick the unit is - about 3/16th of an inch, and just a little over a quarter inch to the length is all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome pack! Yes, I said third because I'm rough with my phones and the other packs protected my phone with plenty of accidental drops from waist high.Of course, with my luck they always seem to land on the bottom where the charging port is and that is where some pretty sensitive electronics are located.I've always been able to take my phone down to 10% and flip a switch on the pack to get a full charge back on the phone battery.
