Great decaf
Love this decaf - great flavor and a great price. I like that it's water process decaf, so it doesn't have that off flavor that so many decafs have. It works great in my super automatic - it's not too oily. Flavor is good - pretty smooth but also has some complexity to it.

Great coffee at a great price
Great tasting coffee at a great taste. Are there better coffees? You betcha. They cost almost twice as much, tho and I like this stuff just fine. Plus the name Gorilla makes me feel like a wild and savage animal starting a full day of chest thumping and showing people I’m at the top of the food chain.

Great Quality Beans, But This is a Dark Roast
I'm always on the hunt for a good, whole bean, organic decaf, so decided to give this one a try. First, the good stuff: The quality is definitely there. When I opened the bag, the beans had a great, fresh aroma, and they looked rich and uniform with very few broken pieces. After grinding and pulling a few shots (americano's via the espresso machine), the flavor is smooth, full-bodied. It's a clean-tasting coffee. My only heads-up for other buyers is about the roast level. It's labeled as a "medium roast," but these are definitely on the dark side of the spectrum. The beans have a noticeable oily sheen, and the flavor profile is much closer to a French or Italian roast—very low acidity with heavy, dark chocolate notes and a smoky finish. Now, if you LIKE a dark, bold decaf, you'll probably think this is 5-star coffee. It's delicious for what it is. I'm giving it 4 stars because the quality is clearly there, and I will happily drink the whole bag. I just had to knock a star off because it wasn't the true medium roast with the brighter notes I was hoping for. Bottom line: A high-quality, tasty organic decaf. Just be aware you're getting a much darker, bolder cup than "medium" implies.

delicious decaf!
I've bought the Gorilla Decaf for a couple of years now because it's the cheapest of the varieties they sell, and I don't like spending a ton of money on coffee. Absolutely the best decaf I've had. I hosted a birthday party a little while ago and served it to everyone after dinner. Everyone wanted to be sure it was decaf and didn't believe that it was because it tastes too good to be decaf. Love it and appreciate that is also organic.

Dark and not medium light roast
Decaf, organic, water processed and medium light roast checked all the boxes to give that a try. However the color and just the smell alone gave it almost away. Grinded and tried as a pour over as well as espresso confirmed it’s a dark roast coffee. To bitter and to the point where it tastes burned to me. Not my taste but maybe someone else’s. 3 points for incorrect advertising. Also, came in the same box with floor cleaner and termite poison. Not sure what the logic is here but that can’t be. However that is a shipping and logistics issue and not a coffee issue. Just saying anyway.

Great Coffee
Tastes great and is organic. I can recommend. Not a light roast but still good.

Beware! It’s burnt roast!
This IS NOT light/ medium roast! They are lying . It is the typical decaf burnt roast. It’s black as night, oily as hell( as is most burnt toast coffe- dead guvrawsy) and smells burnt . I mix decaf with caffeinated coffee 3to 1 so it will at least be a tiny bit diluted but it won’t be enough, Ii hate burnt tasting coffee and bought this specifically because it said it was light/ medium roast. Very unhappy with this and obviously will not be buying any more burnt coffee from them,

Great product
I am so happy to have found an organic whole bean decaf coffee. I had to give up caffeinated coffee some years ago and I missed it, but other decafs I tried were not good. Love the taste (unflavored) although it does have a slight edge I can taste while it is black. However, I do not taste it as I mix in a plant based milk and stevia. [One thing I just recently learned the hard way is that decaf still has a little caffeine in it so beware. :) ]
