Sleek looking case awesome airflow design
The Montech X3 Mesh is an absolute beast when it comes to PC gaming cases. With its six fixed RGB lighting fans (3x 140mm and 3x 120mm), this case is designed to deliver both aesthetics and performance. First off, the airflow in this case is phenomenal. The mesh front panel and the pre-installed fans ensure that your components stay cool even during intense gaming sessions. The high airflow design is a key feature that sets this case apart from many others in its price range. The tempered glass side panel is another highlight. It opens like a door, which is super convenient for accessing your components. Plus, it adds a sleek, modern look to your setup, allowing you to showcase all your internal hardware and those vibrant RGB fans. In terms of build quality, the Montech X3 Mesh feels solid and well-constructed. The black finish gives it a professional look, and the interior is spacious enough to accommodate a variety of setups, including larger GPUs and multiple storage drives. The inclusion of USB 3.0 ports on the front panel is a nice touch, ensuring fast data transfer speeds for your peripherals. Overall, the Montech X3 Mesh is an excellent choice for gamers and PC enthusiasts looking for a high-performance case with great airflow, stunning RGB lighting, and a user-friendly design. It's a fantastic blend of functionality and style, making it a standout option in the mid-tower category. **Scratch Resistance:** The Montech X3 Mesh features a tempered glass side panel, which is generally more resistant to scratches compared to acrylic panels. However, it's always a good idea to handle it with care to avoid any potential damage over time. **Value for Money:** In terms of value, the Montech X3 Mesh offers a lot for its price point. With six pre-installed RGB fans, a high airflow design, and a sleek tempered glass side panel, you're getting a lot of premium features without breaking the bank. It's definitely a solid investment for gamers looking to build a high-performance rig. **Screws:** The case comes with all the necessary screws and standoffs for mounting your motherboard, drives, and other components. The screws are of good quality, ensuring a secure fit for all your hardware. **Cable Management:** Cable management in the Montech X3 Mesh is quite decent. There are several cutouts and tie-down points to help you route and organize your cables neatly. The spacious interior also provides ample room to tuck away cables, which helps in maintaining a clean and efficient build. Overall, the Montech X3 Mesh excels in providing a balance of aesthetics, performance, and practicality, making it a great choice for any PC builder.

UPDATED: One of the 140mm fans doesn’t work
I haven’t been able to build a pc in over 10 years, so I was pretty excited to put one together. I ordered the Montech X3 Mesh & I was initially pretty happy with it… until after I spent several days putting everything together & discovered that the front middle fan isn’t spinning, although the LEDs work. As far as everything else, I think it’s a great case for the sale price of $50. UPDATE: After contacting the seller Skytech, they offered me a partial refund because of the non-working fan. They also gave me an email address for the manufacturer Montech. After communicating with them via email, they sent me a replacement fan which arrived today. I haven’t tried replacing the defective fan yet, but I’m trusting that the new one will work. Overall, an excellent customer service experience in dealing with both companies. Changing my rating to add another star 👍 UPDATE #2: Montech did send me another fan, but it’s not the same one. It’s a 2-wire instead of 3-wire (which means it can’t be monitored/controlled by the mobo or software) & the LED lights are different enough that it’s noticeable. Not the end of the world & I do appreciate the fact that they sent one. Negatives: •Took 1 week to receive, which is a bit much •1 fan doesn’t spin (replaced)* •Fans are LED & not addressable RGB as the pictures might lead some to believe (although this is pretty clearly stated). •Fans have older style Molex connections that are all daisy chained together. •Cabling is fairly inelegant & comes held together with metal twist ties. •No PC speaker. •Materials aren’t the greatest. The gauge of the metal is pretty thin & a bit flimsy. •No rubber grommets in the cabling passthroughs •It’s perhaps a bit small for some ATX builds Positives: •Although the geometric aesthetic seems heavily “inspired” by Fractal brand cases, it’s a nice looking case regardless. •Pretty quiet at idle considering the 6 original case fans, the 2 additional fans I added & a 3 fan GPU •Good, simple design of the side panel, which is easily removable by just lifting it off, although the nylon ribbon loop used as a handle might turn some people off. •Side panel is tempered glass instead of plexiglass/plastic. •Small-ish mid tower case, but ATX motherboard, top mounted radiator in a push/pull configuration, 3 140mm, 5 120mm fans, a Corsair RM750 PSU & a 303mm Radeon 6650xt 3 fan GPU all fit in a nice looking package (although connecting the wiring & cable management is a bit of a chore). •Good airflow •It has a decent magnetic dust filter on the top, although that’s actually not great for airflow & will actually trap dust & restrict the hot air that you want to exhaust from your case. •I’ve seen some reviews that complain about the rear expansion card slots being the cheap kind that you have to bend or cut to remove, but the ones I removed when installing a GPU were secured with a slot & screw (much better). •Although the specs say it officially supports GPU’s up to 303mm I managed to squeeze in an MSI Gaming X Trio GeForce RTX 3080 which is 323mm with maybe even a couple of mm’s to spare. Conclusion: *After living with this case for about a month & the experiences that I had with both the seller & manufacturer, I’m adding the 5th star to my rating. It’s more of a budget case so you can’t expect perfection, but for $50 it’s an extremely good case & continues to perform very well.

Good case for value but some flaws
Good case with pretty nice airflow. Lot of space and is good for the value. Only downside is it came with 1 fan not working and the RGB doesn’t work. Don’t care much for rgb anyway but kind of annoying.

Great budget case
It’s not the highest quality material but it still remains sturdy enough to bang around without worrying about it. The bonus there, it’s VERY light weight. You won’t throw your back out picking this up. The fans included are a huge plus, they are fixed so the speeds cannot be adjusted, but they keep my pc cool and they’re quiet enough to not get annoying. I thought the cable management was going to be a nightmare but it actually turned out to be very manageable. And I gotta say I really like the look of the case itself, very appealing. The ability to shut off the rgb with the simple press of a button on top of the case is a huge W. The rgb is fixed as well, so the colors cannot be changed, but it looks really nice when it’s lit up. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The case looks great, and my cpu stays cool. I would definitely recommend this case to someone looking to upgrade. 10/10 ***UPDATE*** I also ordered the XR fish tank case for my primary pc. It is absolutely stunning. The fans included were decent quality (5v 3 pin) but I swapped them out to match my aio. There is plenty of room for up to 9 120mm fans. The rear exhaust can fit 1 140mm fan, and the top supports 120mm or140mm fans. Airflow is excellent throughout the case. Cable management was a breeze. Beyond satisfied with my second Montech case.

Roomy case with 6 fans for a good price
Nice roomy case. Handles my 300mm long GPU no sweat. 6 fans comes with it. They all light up RGB and are the same. They cannot be synch or programmed, just static RGB, no breathing/cycling. But you get 6 working large fans that are quiet in the price and they're preinstalled and prewired and it's done well. Lots of room and places for cable management. Looks modern without looking like cheese. Comes with mesh filters on all areas. Overall can't say anything bad about it, its a good case, easy to build in, no fussy weird stuff. Lots of room on the back side for cables so you're not trying to stuff it all and hide it.

Cheapest High Airflow Mesh case for a reason.
Ok just finished putting this together for my secondary PC that I use for video encoding for my stream. Just wanna say right off the bat that you may want to save up $20 - $30 extra bucks for a good name brand like Lian-Li or Fractle Design. Its not a bad case, but its not a good case either. Its just Ok as far as a cases go and its best features are high air flow and aesthetics which look like it copies or at least takes design cues from Fractle Design's product line. Since this is for a secondary PC I don't care that much, but I don't think I'd use this case for my daily driver unless that $20 - $30 means you'd have to sacrifice something important somewhere else of your build like a PSU or CPU Cooler. Some things to note: * Metal is thin. This is the only reason its really lightweight, but it feels almost flexible like it could warp/bend easily if you're not careful. * Tempered Glass Door is physically attached via a hinge on the case. This means its not a tool-less removal. So when you're doing work inside the PC you need to be mindful of the door and considering how thin the metal is you need to be careful not to bend anything that would prevent the door from shutting or cracking the glass. * Fans have no control to them. There's no RGB controller interface of any kind, only a toggle switch on the top of the case next to the Reset button. They're not PVM and don't interface with the motherboard at all not even for power. They're powered by daisy chained mollex connectors on the back side of the motherboard so they come on and run at 100% fan speed all the time once the PC is turned on. * Small for a full ATX Mid Tower case. Its fairly cramped inside and while there's accommodations for water cooling anything larger then 240mm is probably not possible and even a 240mm cooler might be a bit cramped inside. For air cooling I have an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo tower cooler and it barely fits with room to spare so I suspect anything larger would be a no go. As for space for a GPU I'd doubt I'd be able to fit many if any triple fan cooler equipped GPUs, but dual fan cooler GPUs like my 5600XT fit in just fine.

Lovely for the price
This is one of the most feature-rich high-airflow cases you can get on a budget. The magnetic glass door which comes off without any screws is amazing, makes cleaning the case a breeze. The mesh front does a good job keeping dust and cat hair out of the system without sacrificing too much airflow. The fans included are fine, the molex centipede in the back is a bit of a pain to cable manage, but they leave you plenty of room to do it. As much as the back ports have pop-out designs for the PCIE slots, you can easily just slot the unused GPU ones back in, making it kind of a non-issue. If you're an enthusiast who wants the best RGB and fan control, this isn't the case for you, the RGB is static and the fans are too. But for the price, it's frankly unbeatable. A bit thin and flimsy in places, but a pleasure to build in, great size, great airflow, and, again, price tag.

Best budget case
This case is the greatest case when you're making a budget build because it comes with all the fans which are not controllable but they are quiet and keep the PC cooler than you'd expect, it's lightweight but my biggest gripe is the stock fans, the wires for them are like a rats nest and there is not a "great" way to tidy them up but when you're just trying to throw together a PC for as little money as possible this is your best bet and is a great case to build onto i highly recommend this over buying a 150$ case
