Hij is minder stroef dan hte schrijven met de oorspronkelijke Boox stylus en maakt geen krassend geluid. De gladheid van het schrijven is even wennen. De pen ligt prettig in de hand tijdens het schrijven en schrijft heel erg precies. Een bijkomend voordeel is dat ik de korte pauze niet meer ervaar die de bijgeleverde Boox stylus wel vaak heeft. Als je begint te schrijven dan is het vaak dat de eerste lekker niet op het scherm geregistreerd wordt. De Lamy pen heeft dit veel minder, eigenlijk heb ik het nog niet gezien. De eerste bewegingen worden direct geregistreerd. Nadeel is wel dat de pen niet magnetisch is en dus los meegenomen moet worden.
