Still a Keeper!
I've been using Luminara candles for a long time. They're safer than "real" candles with real fire. And they have a timer, which I like most of all. The candles that I prefer use D Batteries. They last a pretty long time with the timer function.As they get a couple years old, the timer often starts acting wonky. But you can still use them as on and off lights. Which I've found are great for night lights, or in bathrooms when you have guests trying to feel their way around in unfamiliar surroundings in the dark. When I have guests I usually put in fresh batteries and leave at least one candle lit for the whole weekend.The wax outside makes them look "real." Just make sure not to leave them outside in an area where they can melt or freeze.

Great flameless candles!
I absolutely love these candles as they look like real candles, without the danger of a flame (which makes my hubby happy lol). The batteries last a long time (that's why I stick with D batteries).

These are always dependable
I love my luminara candles. I now have 10 of them in various sizes. I have been buying them for years. I particularly like the wider ones as I think they look more realistic. I have them in various heights. I also have 2 tapers in ivory and am wanting to get two more in red for the holidays. I love that I don't have to turn them on and off every evening. I have them set to go on when it gets dark and then they go off right after I go to bed. It makes my house so cozy feeling and it is much safer than candles but gives the same effect. I mostly use them in the wintertime when it is darker, but they would be good all year. I like the way the "flame" looks like it is flickering. I love love love them.

Very realistic
Items came is perfect condition. The flickering flame looks nearly real from a distance. A family member thought it was a real lit candle left unattended! It adds a warm ambience to my home. I love it!
