It works as it should, long lasting yet isn't too harsh when removing. I use it to cover bruises on my arms from soccer while they are healing -- looks better than showing a bruise and you can cut it to shape. I also wrap my toes to prevent blistering in my cleats. Also, I tape this into a variety of shoes to prevent squeaking and slipping [such as on the inside of soccer cleats at the heel/ankle cup and even on dress shoes at the heels and toes] and it lasts at least a season. I also use it with some cotton to make a versatile band aid to wrap on areas that a traditional band aid won't cover. Yesterday, I taped a strip just under each knee cap and it gave reassuring support for knees worn out from decades of running. This tape has so many uses. UPDATE: I have bought their standard black [they have an extra strong black also, but not sure it is any different than the regular black] and it sticks so well that is seems to be a cut above this one as far as performance. The black can last up to a week and even when I am doing hot yoga -- that is very impressive. I continue to buy this beige when I have a need for cover ups, and the black for more serious applications. Was using the black for LCL taping method where one of the tapes scoops around the knee. You can feel the blood flow to the area, plus give support. Was easy to remove also. I was told the black tape is more water resistant but also that it is rougher on your skin. **Q: I saw what looked like the same product from another seller, but they described it as: Kinesio Tex Gold FP (FingerPrint). Is this the same product?** A: Kinesio Gold (In the GOLD box) was discontinued in late 2012. It is no longer available. It was replaced with Kinesio Tex Gold FP. Kinesio Tex Gold IS DIFFERENT than Kinesio Tex Gold FP. The Gold FP is an IMPROVED version of the discontinued tape in the gold box. The new tape has better healing properties. **Q: Does this have lines/guide for cutting** A: Yes. I use this tape weekly and the tape that is showing has marked lines that can be cut in the 5 strips that I need. Sometimes the markings are off slightly but I compensate for that by starting my cut slightly before the line. Great product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by C***N on 16 September 2025* I am a runner and tennis player and am active most days....and during the GA summers, I sweat a lot. I needed a product I could wear for several days that would withstand all the sweating and subsequent showers. I used to buy the brand you can get at the grocery store, but after a day (maybe 2), the tape would come loose. This is much better quality and saves money for me in the long run because I can wear it 4-5 days. I can assure you that once you adhere this Kenisio tape, it will not come unstuck. Through the hot tub, and several showers it remains adhered. In fact, note that when it is removed, some adhesive residue can remain. If that happens and you need it gone, I've found a little baby oil takes it right off. I also like the tan color, as it is subtle and hardly noticeable. The only downside (which for some may be a plus) is that you need to cut your own strips (they do not come pre-cut). For me, I usually cut numerous strips ahead of time, so I can grab and go when I'm in a hurry to get out the door.
