Great tool for the price
I've had this for 2 years and finally doing a review. I use it every day, and it takes a beating and works great. I highly recommend this air tool.

Very good air impact wrench
This is a great air impact tool, it's built quality is first grade. The biggest advantages are the weight, low noise and high end torque. Though the working torque it's not great, has the advantage of low air consumption.

Happy Mechanic
I bought this to work on my cars. This tool has no problem with anything I use it for. The finish is fine and I wish it had some rubberized protection to protect it from the concrete floor. You get what you pay for and this tool is worth the money. The only other issue is that it doesnt come with a manual to explain the settings of the directional control.

We use Ingersoll rand for the pass 20 years. It’s time to change brands. This is the second time.

Works great!
I use it with a 6 gallon PORTER-CABLE C2002 Oil-Free UMC Pancake Compressor for rotating tires and replacing brake pads. I also bought the Ingersoll Rand 236-BOOT Protective Tool Boot to protect it when laying it on the garage floor. I wrapped two turns of teflon tape around the threads of a Dixon DCP21S Stainless Steel 303 Air Chief Industrial Interchange Quick-Connect Hose Fitting, Plug, 1/4" Coupling x 1/4" NPT Male and screwed it into the bottom of the wrench and then connected it to the compressor using a Continental 045 3/8-Inch-by-50-Feet Safety Yellow Rubber Hose 3/8 -Inch by 50-Feet 250 PSI With 1/4-Inch Ends with Dixon DCB Series Brass Air Chief Industrial Interchange Quick-Connect Air Hose Fitting, Coupling x NPT Female quick connects. I use a TEKTON 47812 1/2-Inch Drive by 21 mm Deep Impact Socket for the lug nuts on our Mazdas and Toyota. The lower setting torques my lug nuts on at around 80 ft/lbs while the higher setting gives me 100 ft/lbs according to my trusty Performance Tool W3001C 1/2-Inch Dr Torque Wrench . Keep in mind that is using it my little pancake compressor which is perfect for me as Mazda recommends 80 to 85 ft/lbs. I'm sure it can go much higher with a larger compressor. I'm giving all these links and detail because it took me a while to figure out everything I would need so hopefully this will save someone some time and money having all the info in one place.

Timing Belt Replace in a Tight Space
My Mazda Miata broke a bolt that in turn ate the timing belt. Although a novice I decided (with Forum help) to fix this myself. I got to the part where I needed to get the timing belt pulley and crankshaft pulley off. They are held on by a 22mm bolt torqued at 125 FtLbs. Its not easy to loosen this bolt without the whole engine turning. YouTube said use an impact wrench. Well I only had 8 1/2 inches for wrench + socket. I had a 4 Gal air compressor (small for auto shop). So I looked for a wrench with a) good reviews; b) size that would fit in my small space; c) something a DIY mechanic could afford. This IR 236 got my bolt off in 2 minutes and did it with a pretty small compressor; The project can move forward. The only negative is that the documentation is minimal and I had to use a magnifier to read it; But the tool itself worked better than I could have hoped for.

Great tool built to last, plenty of torque easily cracks my wheel nuts off. Im a diyer and run this off a 25 litre compressor works fine for the tasks i do.
