Excellent quality mic stand, very secure and durable. And man, it’s tiny in the best way! As a snare drum mic stand, incredible useful for fitting in the small amount of space between bulky cymbal and drum stands, especially in a tight area like a drum cage. Has plenty of height for that application, and would work well as an amp mic stand as well. Folds up nice and tight for portability, and really affordable for the quality. Will be buying again.

A good stand! I appreciate how lightweight it is and it's small size - perfect for micing kick drums, guitar amps, or top/bottom snare. It's not an incredibly sturdy stand, but it's not poorly built. The angle mechanism is well built with the standard rubber grips, but I'm not fond of the arm length adjustment mechanism - it's a standard round-grip screw that you have to over-tighten for heavier mics. It works well for your standard 57/58 or 421, or even some smaller LDCs, but I've noticed it droop when a RE-20 or mid-sized LDC is attached to it. Overall, happy with this $16 purchase! Very much worth the price.

Sturdy! Fits in my backpack with a kick drum mic stand, cables and small accessories. I've only used it to mic the front of my cajon, but assume it will reach up to mic my snare drum. When I first saw it, I thought it was a bit short for a snare drum, but need to try it out.

Has worked great to hold an RTA mic for DSP tuning. Enough adjustability to position the mic exactly where I need it, and hold it securely. Folds up for easy storage. Just make sure to get the correct top mount holder for your style of mic. This doesn't come with any.

Great little stand. Make note of dimensions, is a little short, so you'll need to be aware of heights of item being recorded. Overall functionality is perfect and as described.

Got this little bitty stand for my mom for A Christmas, who plays the Irish drum and accordion in a band and needs to mic those things. This will take up a lot less space around her when playing and free up one of their bigger mic stands for another musician.

The Stage Rocker is pretty much a tiny version of several large, pro tripod stands I own. Great for kick drums or amps, without the sprawling footprint of a full sized boom. Well made; good features; metal in all the right parts. Minimal, recyclable packaging. AND it was almost 15% cheaper than a competitive one I bought. Only comments: The angle adjustment bracket is off a bit - either floppy or too snug to move; & it would have been nice to have just a bit more height &/or reach when you need it & aren't using a heavy mic. Overall, I'd recommend this stand.
