Utillo Craft White Paint Pen (8-Pack), 0.7mm Extra Fine White Paint Markers

Works great! First use and it was easy to use following the directions. It wrote fluidly, as smoothly as a ball point pen with no streaking, no need to go back over it or touch up places the ink did not dispense. It is the best white marker I have ever used. I have tried many only to be disappointed that it was not full white with streaking and spots it did not cover at all requiring trying to go back over it repeatedly to make it more easily visible, trying to fill in spots the ink did not dispense well and even with that, it still was not easily visible on a black background. Those all required a closer look to figure out what had been written. These only require a glance, just as much contrast as you get with black ink on a white background. I cannot comment regarding durability as this is the very first time I have used one, but I am very hopeful it will last following the suggestions, i.e. keep cap on when not writing, like switching to the next item I want to write on to prevent time the tip is exposed to the air and storing it upright in a sealed plastic bag. It fits well in a quart sized ziploc bag. I am submitting two photos, one of a black and a white paper labels, comparing the thickness of this marker with an ULTRA FINE point sharpie marker. This marker is a medium tip as described, perfect for labeling storage containers and again, the writing is as bold as a black marker on white. Other white markers I have tried did not give a nice bold white writing that is easily seen like this one does. I have one pen in the photo outside the box which is what I just used so I know which pen has been used and I can go through them one at a time. This product is worth every penny and I do recommend it.

These markers are excellent. They are solid, non-transparent and with a steady ink flow. The white looks smooth and they stand out over dark backgrounds and lines without fading. Great price. Great product and I got 8 markers that are as good as the other expensive brands. Highly recommended.

It's been 2 or 3 weeks since I first used these pens on my shoes and left a 5-star review. It turns out the pens are a solid 2.5 stars. It took 2-3 coats to cover the dirt evenly on my white rubber shoe soles. Hours of my time over 3 days, but I thought they turned out great! The description on Amazon said they could be used on Rubber and on Shoes. That's why I bought them. However, the shoes are getting dirty incredibly fast. In another week, it will look like I didn't use this pen at all. And I am very gentle with these shoes too, but now they are picking up dirt 10x faster than before. Also, I gave this pen to a colleague to use when she needed white-out. It was so embarrassing! It took her three coats on paper to hide one thin line of Crayola purple marker. I only recommended the pen because using it for white-out was written in the Description. However, the Fine tip point itself does hold up. This pen could be good for decorative uses... just do not use it for anything functional. I want to be kind and give 3 stars... but I can't. I wasted a ton of time, wasted money buying them, and I humiliated myself in front of a fellow professional. 2 stars. Sorry Sellers. - original post- I accidentally wore my 'good sneakers' during heavy yard work and destroyed the white rubber side-soles with dirt and stains. I tried scrubbing them clean but stained is stained. I decided to try this product, or I would have needed new shoes. So far these pens are great. The tip is very fine for a paint pen, and it maneuvers around detail well. However on an angle, the pen covers enough surface area that the project moves along at fair speed. I just finished one coat on one shoe. It will definitely need a second coat to cover everything evenly, but with all the pens that come in the box, I think I will have plenty until the job is done. Now I have to see how durable the paint is. If I have any problems I'll update. So very I'm very glad I made the purchase.

UPDATE: Sadly, I must report that these turned out to not be all that great. What happens is that the pens are super fantastic for about the first week after you activate one. Then they just stop working. No matter if you are cleaning off the tip after use, storing in the proper way, etc. They just clog up - in fact, they clog up worse than some others I have tried. This will teach me to not get too excited at first use lol. Considering that you only have a week to use one of them up after activation, these are somewhat pricey. Back to trying to find a white paint pen that actually lives up to my standards of needing it to work for more than a week. ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you are on the fence about ordering these, jump down now and order them! I have used many different 'white pens' in an attempt to find the best, most opaque white pen for my various art needs. These are heads and shoulders above anything I have ever used. So much so, I ordered a back up set and the black set as well. These are perfect on dark or black paper. They are perfect to add highlights and POP to coloring pages. They are perfect to add touch ups, highlights and POP to your watercolor and acrylic paintings. TIP: To keep them super fresh, use one of those food saver vacuum sealer devices to seal up the pens you are not going to use right away. It's better than just putting in a zip lock bag.

Didn’t know what to expect from paint pens but these genuinely work really well.. doing a project with acrylic paint and then used permanent marker to do some detail work and the marker just wipes off the acrylic paint but these pens work so well and don’t smudge..

These... These might just be the best white pens on the market. Anywhere. If you need a reliable, go-to white pen that can mark on many different surfaces (including on dried water color art for highlights), these are THE pens to get. I don't think you can find something better then these. They mark more solidly then jelly roll pens. They have the coverage of high-quality acrylic paint pens, like those by Molotow. And they compliment other media wonderfully. I've used these with water color pencils, acrylic metallic markers, Ohuhu alcohol markers, and watercolor Triplus fineliners, and these Utillo Craft white pens marked brilliantly on all those forms of media. They need a bit of shaking and a press of the nib to get them going, but once they are going, they get the job done. The nib is solid and delivers a fine, steady line. 8 pens come in a box, and all of them work (at least they did for me). The ink is a bright white that really pops on darker paper. To keep them working well, store them horizontally in a dark, cool place (read - cool, not cold- please don't place them in a fridge), away from sunlight. Can't recommend these enough. If you like to make white highlights in your art, these are a must. You owe yourself as an artist to at least try them.
