I was in search of an area rug for my apartment because I have hardwood floors and a newly sprinting toddler! I was searching for a rug that was a good price value, soft enough to cushion his falls, and wide enough to cover most of my living room. This rug is perfect for that! I didn’t want to drop $150+ on a rug that I couldn’t even feel with my hands before purchase but I am so glad that I picked this up. It’s a tad bit scratchy but it gets the job done and it’s been extremely durable thus far. If you’re in need of an inexpensive but good quality rug, buy this one.

I purchased the 5-in square in "white." In reality it is a true off-white (no yellowish tint) which I prefer anyways. You cannot see the black backing underneath the shag as others have reviewed, unless you get down on the floor and actually part the shag with your fingers. Maybe a bit around the edges here and there, but Just use your foot to fluff it when you see it. I have two robot vacuums, and neither can plow through it because it's too thick. I vacuum it once a week, and use a rubber carpet rake (pictured) in between, to fluff it up. You will need double-sided carpet tape or it will move around. Just a square of tape on all four corners will prevent it from moving at all, even when you vacuum. We've had it for a year now and it's held up pretty good, although we don't walk on it with shoes so I can't attest to that. If something gets spilled on it, it's inexpensive enough to roll up and throw away and purchase a new one.

We've bought nuLoom rugs before and been happy. This rug however arrived matted, and so tightly rolled (no rolle in middle) that the shag will never "pop up." the entire border where it was rolled shows the backing of the rug and no amount of sweeping it would cover the backing. In multiple places, the backin shows through the shag. The rug is rough and the chemical smell is awful. As this was for a child's room, we can not keep it. It's really almost impossibly cheap.

This was a good value for what I wanted. It feels decently soft, although the individual tufts are bigger than I expected, giving it a slightly cheaper look. The tufts were flattened when the carpet arrived and it took some vacuuming to get them to fluff up more. It was also so tightly curled that the ends wouldn't lay flat after weeks in the house, so eventually I bought carpet tape to hold them down. Overall I was happy enough that I bought a matching runner.

This rug is very pretty and I love the color, but it is very thin. I don't like how the corners curl up. If I didn't have a coffee table weighing it down it would definitely be sliding all over the living room. I reccomend getting a non slip thing to go under it if there won't be furniture weighing it down. It's also very difficult to vacuum but I think that's because the shag is so long.. which is also a good thing because that's what makes it full and plush. I suppose I am satisfied for the price.

This rug is thin. See pic when I put my hand in it - the pile all separated and you can see the backing. It's not 'plush' feeling at all. The color is a bright navy, not a deep navy. It's not for me - returning.

My partner and I love this rug, which we have placed in our bedroom. The navy is true, and the rug is soft and thick. One of the edges did curl up a bit when we first unrolled it, but we placed heavy books all along that side for a few days and it flattened out (first time I'd used my dictionaries in years -- glad to know they're still good for something!). There was also a slight "new" smell at first, but that went away really quickly. We slept in the room with the rug the first night and didn't even notice it anymore by then.UPDATE: 5 months later, this rug is still awesome. No premature wear, no bald spots, no shedding. Really happy with the quality of this rug!

we did our research, this carpet is the best on the market in my opinion for price and quality and I would highly recommend to soften any space in your home. We added this to our music corner.. the carpet is nice and soft and plush. Good quality, best price.

The media could not be loaded. SO UNHAPPY WITH THIS ORDER. I paid $200 for a piece of crap and cheaply made carpet. I make rugs for a living and I could have made this better.. it's very empty and not soft or thick AT ALL. it feels like walking on plain hard floors still. Don't buy this product. Save yourself some time and go buy a nice big rug worth the money.

For the price I love it and works very well in my guest room. I have it on a berber type wall to wall carpet so feels lovely. I would imagine if it was just on a bare floor it wouldn't be quite as comfy, but overall I am very pleased.
