My friend from Texas visited Australia. While she was there, everyone told her she needed to take back some Lucas Papaw Ointment because it fixes so many things. Lucky for me, she gave me a tube. They're right, it does fix... mosquito bites Itches, dry lips, owies from hangnails...just a variety of little hurts. I ordered two tubes and shared one with my sister. She loves it and ordered a couple of tubes as well. I use it for dry lips at night and for me, it lasts all night. I live in North Dakota and can't wait to try it on split fingers from cold weather which somehow always happens. It's not greasy but stays on. This is a great find and not expensive.

Lucas pawpaw ointment is the ONLY lip balm that I have used for many years, b/c it is the most effective at resolving chapped dry lips. I've tried dozens of others, and nothing else compares. BUT, the plastic packaging quality has deteriorated the last 2 years, and the plastic dispenser will crack along the sides long before you can finish the product. I've taken to wrapping tape around the dispenser to cover the crack, which does work, but is unsightly. Time to develop a better dispenser, but it's not significant enough of an issue yet for me to take away a star.

Excellent to reduce itching from bug bites. Great for chapped hands.

I love this stuff. I am a bit of a chapstick connoisseur and always have some with me. Since I’ve started using this, I haven’t been able to switch to another. Works wonders

One of the best healing ointments for dry chapped lips!

I often have dry lips cos I ain't use to AC or cold weather. I've used different kinds of lip balms and lip gloss but all didn't work best. One of my friend said to use petroleum jelly which was good but I don't want to often use petroleum as it's bad for the health. I begun searching for this item online and happy to see this on Amazon as one of the best dermatologist quickly showed this to her post as effective for the lips and the ingredients are safe and healthy specially the papaya enzymes. I gave 4 stars cos the item arrived in bad condition like the ointment is melting out on its tube. The product doesn't have a seal so it won't leak. However, it was so effective still. Just an expensive ointment!

Good product - keeps lips moist without feeling heavy - no apparent smell which I love - a bit pricey but will last a long time as you don’t need much per application

Exactly like polysporin but safer! I use this on my dry, cracked lips and it heals and moisturizes them super well! My mom uses it for her eczema and it works to heal and moisturizes the spots very well, they don’t often come back either.

I was recommended this product and it hasn’t disappointed me. I have used it to heal wounds and dry skin and it’s amazing. Doesn’t work overnight but it works and doesn’t have any side effects. I have purchased more for my kids too as it’s has so many uses.

Such an amazing product. Keeps my lips hydrated without having to continuously reapply throughout the day.
