Separating the layers is a PITA, but once you do, it'll tell you to use TWO capfuls to line one for top-loading washers or two capfuls to line two for front-loading washers. Note that the "lines" are the tops of the vertical bars inside the cap. Line one is indicated by three vertical bars that end near the rim. Line two is indicated by THREE vertical bars that end well below the rim. Two fills to line 1 (higher line) is about 2/3 cup (5.33 fl oz). Two fills to line 2 (lower line) is about 3.5 fl oz. It says to put it in the rinse cycle and that the rinse cycle should be at least 16 minutes. Be careful putting the second capful into your fabric softener dispenser, because the dispenser may not hold enough (you can try removing the dispenser tray and dumping out excess water before putting any products into it for the load, if you have that style of dispenser). Alan. **Q: If you're supposed to put it in the fabric softener compartement, do toy mix it with fabric softener or just not use fabric softener?** A: fabric softener compartment witb absolutely no detergent in. the load. the job of this is to sanitize your clothes and washer. so what i do is after i sanitizer clothers and the load that needed it i then wash the clothes.i dont take out the sanitizer clothes but instead i just do a regular washing load with detergent and fabric softener. ot works perfectly but i didnt buy it from Amazon. my husband bought it for me in store via target. it also seems many bought fake ones. **Q: what are the ingredients?** A: If you go to product page on Amazon.com, you can scroll over the front image. Ingredients are listed on the lower left side under scent **Q: Does it say on the bottle if it kills candida albican?** A: I know this is late, but washing on the hottest cycle typical kills fungus and mold, but they're also a lot of detergents on the market that are antifungal actually. But also just cleaning you washer frequently will keep fungus and mold from growing in the drum. Also make sure to clean your rubber seal occasionally as well. By the time your clothes are dry however there will be only a slight discernable fragrance. This is perfect for me because I do not react well to very strong scents in laundry products. I would say they could almost sell this unscented and it would still be great. It is a good value for money since you use so little and it leaves clothes soft and very clean like a dream. This is a high-quality product that is easy to pour into your washing machine area for detergent or prewash or softener. I noticed after I used this twice that my front loading washer no longer had the smell it had before. I don't know. Could this have eradicated the smell? I think so!
