When our garbage disposal bit the dust, we took a hard look at whether or not we wanted to invest in a new one. Especially since our city recently added compost services to the yard debris service. Why are we throwing food down the sink? It always seems to eventually fail, either the garbage disposal or a clogged drain. So, we opted for bringing some much needed change into our household. First of all, the baskets and drain are much larger than I was anticipating. Then again, I think most of us don't see the bulk of a drain as it's under the sink. These were installed in my dual-sink, custom Corian counter and it literally took less than 5 minutes. I used the supplied foam-type gaskets instead of plumber's putty. It compresses nicely and hasn't had any leaks. The strainer baskets are wonderfully deep, so that allows you to wash off dishes that have a lot of food on them (or washing out stew from the Instant Pot) and when you're finished washing dishes or rinsing them for the dishwasher to easily lift out the basket (with the nice metal handle) and dump into the compost bin, or garbage can. I also updated the drain pipes at the same time and it's been an excellent upgrade to our kitchen. No more ugly black rubber garbage disposal drain gasket and the horrible wafting smells coming up from the old garbage disposal. The only concern I have is the strainer and basket feel a bit thin, like stamped metal, but it's stainless steel and it's a great value and aesthetic. My wife even commented on how nice they look. Definitely exceeded my expectations and I've never seen anything like this at the box stores. This is where Amazon shopping really excels for me. Installed about a week ago, super easy, love the No Plumbers Putty! Had to cut about an inch off the bottom drain tube since this Drain Assembly is a little longer than the one being replaced. So far works as expected, no leaks.

The sink drain assembly works as described and fits well, but the materials feel a bit lightweight for the price. Installation was straightforward, and the removable strainer is convenient. However, the stopper doesn’t always seal perfectly and needs occasional adjustment. Overall, functional but not exceptional

A very well-made item. It was exactly what I needed for the 3 inch opening in the sink. The small basket inside is quite deep and will serve the purpose of a strainer very well. The stopper for the drain is very nice and works as it should. I highly recommend this product and will be ordering two more for our kitchen sink.

One of the best quality sink drain kits. Great materials and finishes. The material is thick and much heavier than the others. The strainer basket is great and catch foods debries well. It functions as a drain with a catch basket, and it has a closed top.

So far so good. Item arrived on time and within minutes I had both baskets installed. Very simple, straight forward installation. I did have to shorten one of my existing pipes a little since the baskets are a little longer than my previous ones. They seem very well made and with the hardware included, everything works as it should with no leaks. We are excited to have good functioning stoppers again! The strainer bucket is a bonus!

Paired this sink drain with my delta sink. I was about to be boring and go for basic silver colour drains because where i stay they do not sell these items in colours . It looks fabulous, when my friends come over and they see it they always ask "why didn't I do that" or they did not know such options were available
