Excellent addition to first-aid kit. - The neat thing here is that when you get 6, you can open one up and practice with it or demonstrate how to use it. so that during an emergency, you're not trying to read fine-print directions. I don't believe there's anything magical or special about items like this. They're meant to put pressure on a wound. You are responsible for using it correctly (and hopefully having appropriate supporting material like gauze, antiseptic, etc.) These units are easy to use, offer appropriate (and adjustable) amounts of tension, and are long enough to use even on large areas.
