Men's Windproof Lightweight Golf Vest Outerwear with Pockets, Softshell Sleeveless Jacket for Running Hiking Sports

I had the perfect golf vest since 2020 that I really liked. It was black and I think I left it in the storage basket on a cart and someone snagged it. My concerns for a new vest was simple. Fit and function. I didn’t want it floppy big or too tight. The sizing chart is sort of an educated guess. I thought about an XL but saw one review from a buyer near my size that convinced to by the large. I’m an older but very fit guy who is 6’1” tall and 205 pounds. I’ve got a 37 inch waist and a 43 inch chest. I add this real world size data to assist other buyers on ordering the proper size. Exchanging things is a pain. Been a golfer, hockey goalie and weight lifter for 50+ years. Remarkably, there was only one review from a customer close to my size and that review sold me on this new vest and the large size. Without that review, I would have ordered an XL and it would have been too big. In the photos, I’m wearing a compression shirt with a long sleeve shirt on top followed by this vest which is what I wear on cool autumn days golfing, The Large fit me is perfect. The zipper is solid, and the overall functionality was ideal for golf. This vest is 1/3 there price of the brand name ones in the golf stores which made it a great value. The vest is a bit longer than my lost vest and I like the length. The collar is taller and this vest has 6 pockets. The pocket across the lower back is not readily accessible while wearing the vest but it’s there is you need it for spare score cards or something else light. I know - if I had a stop sign I’d look like an elderly crossing guard but yellow is going to be a LOT harder to misplace in a cart or my car. For the money, this is a terrific vest. I went to the range on a 46 degree cloudy, fall day when it arrived and hit a large bucket. That’s when I knew I made the right choice. The vest acts as a windbreaker, it keeps my core warm and my arms free and is lightweight. This will easily stuff into my golf bag. I’ll keep it in a small stuff sack (not included). I just bought one more in more subtle color for use off the golf course. I now have a new “favorite” golf vest!

This jacket is hands-down one of the best pieces of outerwear I’ve bought. The number of pockets is perfect — finally a jacket where I don’t have to carry a bag! Everything has a place: phone, wallet, keys, gloves, and more. The pockets are well-placed and secure, with a good mix of zippered and flap closures. The fit is comfortable and true to size, and the material feels durable but not too heavy. Great for everyday wear, travel, or outdoor activities. If you’re looking for a functional and well-designed jacket with serious storage, this is the one.

This vest looks good and works fine in the 50 - 60 degree range. Fit is good, zippers are solid and the vest is well made. Waiting to see how it holds up once I start playing more often when temps get out of the 30s.

I enjoy wearing this vest. I wear it often. Good quality, nice storage and nice fit. It's perfect for cool days, blocks the wind and the zippers work great.

This was a nice vest, great weight and lots of pockets. I got it to use when we fly Spirit or Frontier airlines as you have to have a small personal item. It holds a lot of items and is very comfortable.

I'm very pleased with this vest. I bought it for air-travel (I like to have something in which I can easily hold everything that would otherwise be in my pants pockets, making it simple and quick to get through the security line, and that adds some warmth for the flight), for bicycle-touring (a convenient way to carry a wallet, phone, etc. and some win protection), and for hiking (same). I use it for all of those purposes and often for just getting through the average day. I hadn't expected to use the back pocket much, but found that a great place to keep my passport or anything else that fits and is essential to keep near me but that does not need to be accessed frequently. The vest appears well-made. I expect to be able to wear it often and for many years. Given the reasonable price, high quality and good fit, I may order an identical but bright yellow version to wear when cycling or I may get a windbreaker or other jacket from the manufacturer I'm 6'5"/196cm and about 215lbs (97kg). An XL fit me well. On me, the vests fits trim, not baggy, which is what I was seeking. Ideally, it might be slightly longer for someone my size, which means that shorter stature people may find the vest to be longer than they'd like. Ideally, the manufacturer would offer regular and long versions.

I wear vests a lot. While I typically wear a quilt work puffy-type vest, this is my first Golf vest. And I love it! The 3 zippered front pockets are awesome, though I’m not sure what I’d use the back zipper pocket for. The back zippered pocket is large, not quite large enough for my 11 inch iPad. It’s not a heavy vest, and the fact that it’s waterproof adds to the wearability. It’s pretty soft, though since it’s waterproof and windproof there is some stiffness. Not enough I think it would impact my golf game. Zippers are all nice and workable great. I like the little hole that goes through to the upper pocket so one can use their wired headphones if you have the phone in the upper pocket . Hoping it’s not too warm as I wanted it mainly for a travel vest, but I think it’ll be perfect!

Ordered this vest last week, got it the next day, opened it up and loved it right away. Tried it on (it was a Medium) and it was too small. According to their sizing chart I was a Medium, I forgot that with some clothes that are made in different hemispheres, they seem to picture us western folks as being smaller than we are. Returned it through an Amazon store, got the Large exchange and loved it even more. Chest pocket easily fits my phone, two zip pockets, two pouch pockets inside, one on the back (??? I'll figure out something to do with it). Wore it outside over a midweight fleece jacker, 45 degrees out there, 15mph breeze coming in from over the delta and 80 per cent humidity but I was really comfortable. Gonna order another in a different color.

Great vest. It fits well. It’s warm and lightweight. Very high quality. I use it for running and it keeps my torso warm while allowing me to wear less underneath for greater performance and flexibility.

I bought this for my partner who is a golfer. The quality is excellent and it has lots of pockets. I originally ordered a Medium, as that is what he wears, but it was too snug around the waist, so returned the vest and ordered a Large. This fits beautifully around the waist, but is a little loose under the arms. However, my partner assures me that that is not problem as you need the ease to swing a golf club. Will be ordering another in in a different colour.

This vest fits nicely. Is comfortable. Love the number of pockets. Have yet to wear It in wet conditions. But seems promising.
