I've never owned pepper spray before, but after coming across a video review on the NRA website and watching the YouTube demonstration, I was sold on this product. What initially caught my attention was that POM Industries has been around for over 45 years and that their pepper spray is made in the United States. However, what really convinced me to purchase it was the compact size and the flip-top firing system. The small size means I can keep it in my pocket at all times without even noticing it's there, and the flip-top design gives me peace of mind that I won’t accidentally trigger it when I’m reaching into my pocket. I bought the three-pack because the price was great, and I figured it couldn’t hurt to have a few extras around. According to the product description, it has the maximum strength allowed by law, a 10-12 foot stream range, and can deliver 12 seconds of continuous spray or up to 20 bursts in shorter intervals. I haven’t had the need to use it yet, but I plan to take one of the canisters to an open field to test it out, just so I’m familiar with how it works. The pocket clip version is especially useful since I can clip it to the inside of my shirt pocket for easy and quick access. After doing some research on other pepper sprays, I’m confident I made the right choice with POM. Their 45 years of experience and the fact that it's made in the U.S. were major factors for me. I’ll likely buy a few more to give as holiday stocking stuffers this year because I think this is a must-have for anyone concerned about personal safety. Comes highly recommended from people I trust. Haven’t had to use it (thankfully), but I love how small and easy to carry it is. Having multiple clip/carry options is super handy. I have the pocket clip and the keychain version. When it matters, I know this will back me up.

Best pocket spray ever! This is easy to carry, not to expensive, and gives you another option for self defense. I buy these for all the people I care about. It is simple to use and highly effective. Nobody wants a face full of pepper spray!

Great product. Unfortunately been bit by a neighbors dog theee times. Now I don’t leave the house without this product. Get the “test” version before you invest in the multi pack (and make sure you buy googles to try it ). Feel much safer w it. (.yes called animal control who did nothing )!!! Keep one in car now too

Prefacing my review with I have actually used the pepper spray. I've been fortunate enough that I havent found myself in a situation where I've had to use it. The unit itself is built well. The clip hasnt snapped off after months of carry it. I like that there is a safety cover of the button itself. Hopefully I dont find myself in a situation where I need to actually use the spray itself but so far its been nice to have and carry around.

I bought it due to Bear invasion in our neighborhood. Unfortunately looking at the size of this product doesn't quite measure up to the huge Bear in our yards. I will be ordering the Bear Spray. I should have in the first place. These are perfect for predators like wild dogs, wolf, fox, or even man size predators. Easy to carry on keychain or wrist.

These are just the right size for pockets, backpacks, attached to a dog leash, for a purse…well, just about anywhere. It clips to your pants and is hardly noticeable. I barely felt it on my morning walk. I bought these three pack so I would have one always in a coat jacket and one to take when I travel and one for spare. I like that that these are flip up and spray style as this seems easier to me than some of the other brands. Lots of cool colors too! Just hope I never have to use, but nice to feel a bit safer on my walk.

This is a great compact OC spray with decent output, distance and duration. The flip top is better than other products that use a rotating top. Once you slip your thumb under the safety cap, you can easily press down on the button and deploy, unlike some products that are so hard to push that it takes two hands. My elderly mother with arthritis has no problems spraying this. It is also impossible to spray the unit if you were to hold it the wrong direction. There is also a little notch or lip on the front just under the nozzle so it keeps your fingers out of the line of spray. Now for the potency, this is one of the hottest pepper sprays on the market. In this day and age with assaults, road rage and aggressive transients, everyone should be carrying OC spray. I order the multipack and hand them out as gifts. Highly recommend.
