Excellent Purchase - Would Buy Again

During lockdown, this was a life saver for my 3,5 year old. I loved the online resources but as they were limitless and chaotic sometimes. This helped have a daily structure without the stress of the in advance planning. My little one also loves the reward stickers and the activities with the stickers that it contains.

The Progress with Oxford: Numbers up to 10 (Age 3-4) workbook is a vibrant and fun-filled way of helping your pre-school aged child to explore early Maths skills that include the recognition and understanding of the numbers up to 10. It also combines this with some work with matching, colouring, and pencil control. The book combines multiple activities with learning, so that your child gets to learn through fairly dynamic means. As the pages progress, your child goes from dealing with one individual number, to looking at multiple digits and matching them appropriately to various pictures. Finally, it revisits all the numbers up to 10, and your child is able to consolidate their new knowledge. This is our new favourite range for our 3 year old. She loves the activities, and now owns three of the books in this series, which are all equally fun and educational. The pages are also littered with fun activities that can be used to expand upon each specific learning goal, using more tactile methods such as play dough, sand writing and water play. These additional ideas will most definitely help your child to consolidate their understanding of the individual goals, whilst ramping up the fun. Some of the activities are just such fun - like having a teddy bears picnic with your child, and using that as a learning opportunity. I highly recommend this to any parent who is looking at getting some educational books for the 3-4 age group. Fantastic series!
