How do you remove these from a stainless refrigerator?

Rubbing alcohol will disintegrate the glue, so just pop it off and then clean the sticky residue off the fridge with the rubbing alcohol.

I can not open the adjustable side of clasp after initial adjustment. I have tried everything to slide it over with no results. Is there a trick?

I have just bought similar ones and had no idea how to adjust, so thank you! I flicked up the middle plastic panel with finger, slid it out and removed... not very user-friendly or easy to see on instructions.

Is this safe to use on Walnut or could it ruin the wood?

Im not sure what type of wood we have. But I did test one of them on the wood. I removed it today after a few days being on it and nothing was damaged. I would say it safe
