medium blessed virgin mary statue

It's very beautiful and a very good value. It has a really good weight to it. I feel like the face looks a little different that in the photo, but maybe it's just a different lighting or angle or I'm mis-perceiving. In any case, her face is very beautiful, and the whole design is beautiful. It seems very well made. There's a little red note when you open it out of the styrofoam that says to remove statue from the bottom and that if you break it removing the statue incorrectly it can't be returned. I didn't notice that note, but was careful and I think I did eventually remove it from the bottom since that was easiest anyway. Just something I thought people might want to be aware of as they are opening this beautiful piece of our Blessed Mother.

Beautiful statue

My mom requested a Marian statue for her birthday for a prayer table she was setting up. She didn’t know a preferred depiction or material. My budget wasn’t extensive, but I wanted to find something beautiful and not tacky. Other reviews helped me choose this beautiful statue. Mom loves it; she teared up upon opening it. As others state, the Blessed Mother’s facial expression is serene and warm. It really is more lovely than the photos. I specifically pointed out to my mom the little stars on the mantle that another reviewer mentioned. (We’d have missed them!) Absolutely choose this statue to enhance the spirituality of your own surroundings or as a wonderful gift.

I live on a very limited income. I have been searching for a statue of Our Lady, but those in my price range have either been tiny (usually 6" tall), or look demented (at best) or downright sinister in their facial expressions. Anything that seemed appropriate usually ran in the $150+ range, and I could not afford anything that expensive. One day, while searching yet again, I came across this statue, and after reading the reviews, decided to place an order. I am so happy I did. At 12" in height, this statue is tall enough to be seen behind a candle and is beautiful beyond words. Our Lady looks so serene as to bring comfort before you even light a candle or say your first prayer. It is NOT made for the mass market: paint slapped every which way just to get it out the door. The mold was carefully detailed and reminds you of statues found in churches long ago when Our Lady was honored and artists strived to capture the love and adoration they felt for our Blessed Mother. I highly recommend this statue. It will hold a place of honor in your home, in your children's dorm rooms or first apartments, or wherever you believe the comfort Our Lady offers is needed. It is well worth the price.

This statue is as beautiful as all the other raters have described. Also there are very faint raised stars on her mantle (back) which is subtle and such a nice touch. I ordered two - one for myself and one just to keep to give as a gift later. The boxes are glossy, very nice and very suitable for a very refined gift. About a month later I noticed the price had increased so I ordered two more for gifts again, but accidentally from a *different seller.* Those boxes were really ugly = they are the standard, very cheap light brown stock cardboard, totally unmarked, obviously made of recycled material, metal staples diagonally set and showing along all seams. I will not be able to give these as gifts and am not sure if I will return them. But the listing by King Tut's Secret was so impressive. I didn't realize packaging would make such a difference, but for a gift it really does.

This is a beautiful statue of Our Lady, so serene. I keep her on my desk at home, and when I'm stressed out, I just look at her and spend a few moments in quiet contemplation. It's a high quality piece, simple in its design, but with with the right amount of detail so that her peacefulness comes out. I have a number of Toscano's pieces, but this one is my favorite. My go to statue when I need to spend some time with the Blessed Virgin.
