NAKED Shake - Peanut Butter Blueberry Protein Powder, Plant Based Protein with Mct Oil, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, No Gmos Or Artificial Sweeteners - 30 Servings

I've been a Naked Casein (vanilla) user for years - but lately dairy generally has been causing some bloat so I wanted to give plant-based a try with a brand I trust. Some of the reviews made me worry it would be clumpy, chalky, difficult-to-mix... those reviews appear to be isolated to the chocolate flavor though... I ordered Peanut Butter Blueberry and it mixed perfectly in a shaker with almond milk in about 15 seconds as shown in the attached video with very little sediment at the end (less than with ON gold standard whey or naked casein, actually). It tastes pretty good going down. I do agree with other reviewers that it tastes very sweet, but not unpleasantly so (for me). This is a new staple for me. Thanks for a great product and a reliable brand I can trust for a few different things.

I got the peanut butter blueberry. It’s really good! I’m a vegetarian who likes working out and am trying to eat more protein. I was looking for a vegan protein powder that actually tastes good. I’ve grown to actually like drinking this. I tried it with almond milk first and did not like it, so now, I mix it with about 8 oz water in a blender bottle. Shake for about 30 seconds, add some ice, and shake some more. By then it’s blended and cold and goes down easy. The last drink of the bottle is powdery, but I’ve never tried a powder that does not do that.

I like this flavor and the fact that the ingredients list is so small. Blends nicely in smoothies or in my overnight oats and high protein content.

Delicious when you add maybe fresh blueberries or a blueberry jam/syrup for a little added flavor.

I would give the Peanut Butter Blueberry 2 stars, and the Strawberry Banana 3 stars. But the Chocolate gets 5 stars. The chocolate is definitely their best flavor, I’ve only ever had it blended with almond milk and banana, never just milk alone, but it’s delicious and much better than other vegan protein powders out there.

After reading the ingredients list and reviews really thought I had found “the one”. Sadly, the blueberry flavor in this is off. It leaves an aftertaste no matter how I mix it. I’ve tried coconut milk with peanut butter, added blueberries, added honey, banana…etc etc - cannot get rid if the weird blueberry flavor aftertaste. Thought I’d return it and try Vanilla - which is always my go to, ** NO RETURNS ** on this product. I even checked manufacturer website and they have same policy. So be sure you want to love it because if you don’t - it’s an expensive lesson. Protein does mix well. The peanut butter flavor is pretty good. The blueberry could be a nice addition, but it’s a weird aftertaste type thing.

I've tried a LOT of vegan shakes and they are all terrible, even the ones with high ratings. I didn't have high hopes from my past experience with non-dairy protein powder, but this one is surprisingly good. It's still got kind of a chalky texture, but tastes WAAAAY better than most other plant-based products. The first few sips are kind of sweet (I got the blueberry peanut butter), but it's just stevia. It's still better tasting than many other brands.

I had really enjoyed the Vanilla version of this shake, since it didn't have any aspartame, stevia, sucralose, monkfruit, etc. So when I decided to try another flavor, I only glanced at the ingredients, noting that it had coconut sugar & assuming it would be the same deal. Unfortunately, upon receiving the bottle, I quickly found that the last ingredient on the list was monkfruit sugar. Since I generally try to avoids returning things, and I use a scoop of this in a morning smoothie with a bunch of other ingredients, I was hoping it wouldn't be too noticeable. But today is day 2 & I've quickly gone from enjoying these to kind of having to choke them down. So disappointed--the picture of the ingredients does not contain monkfruit and I'm very displeased that the product I received has it. Please, protein smoothie manufacturers, just give us something without artificial-tasting sweeteners!
