Perfect Little MP3
I bought the E-matic MP3 in Lime Green for myself because I didn't want an over priced, over-hyped MP3 player. I needed something small and lightweight, and this was the one. It's not tough to navigate the menu after you get the swing of it, and it is easy to add music without having to delete the music that you have already programmed on it, like some other players. I am still trying to figure out how to load videos to it, as the instructions in the pamphlet that comes with it are vague, but over all, it meets my needs. The E-matic has a separate jack for the earphones, and USB port, for charging and programming. However, the headset that comes with it is inexpensive, and I recommend purchasing a higher-end set for better sound and comfort. It also works well with my laptop speakers, as the jack is compatible, giving me convenient listening time so that I don't have to put up with commercial radio, or bogging down my laptop with music programs.Over all, I found this to be a wonderful little device, and am quite happy with it, and the other one that I purchased at the same time. I love the color of the E-matic as the Lime Green stands out and gets noticed. If you are looking for simple, easy to use, with a good amount of space, this may just be the product for you.

Great device that's wonderfully priced. But not without it's share of problems
I love this mp3 player. For under 20 dollars, this thing is a steal. But be careful; this isn't as well designed as an ipod, it does have a few glaring flaws.First the pros:- Comes in a variety of colors( although the color on my picture was a much more intense shade of blue than the one I received. Mine is much more of a sea blue than the one shown on the picture but that's a minor gripe)- Cheap! Seriously, most ipods are found around 100 dollars and even more. This is good for any body looking for music on a budget.- The battery life is pretty impressive for a product of this nature.- Has a surprising amount of features. It comes with radio, music, video, voice recording, and pdf reading availability.Cons:- It's cheap and also feels cheap. This is made with very cheap plastic; it looks more like a toy than a media player. I could crush this thing in my bare hands with very little effort.- Design is very counter-intuitive. You really have to get used to controlling this thing when you buy it at first.- It's a minor gripe but it is rather annoying that this thing shuts off if you pause for too long and it takes a while to turn back on.- The headphones it comes in are cheap but you can avoid this issue by having your own pair. But overall, this is a pretty impressive device. The video quality isn't spectacular; if you're planning on buying this because of the video function, you shouldn't waste your time. Cartoons look okay in this thing, though, the best looking movie I've played on this device is the Brave Little toaster and I could actually watch that movie in it's entirety without the battery failing. If you need a device to just play music without spending a fortune. This thing does a pretty good job

So perfect!
So let me start by saying that I bought this in 2010. This mp3 player has been a godsend to me! I have a problem with breaking things (phones, computers, i-pods etc.) so I wanted something easy, cheap and durable-no pun intended. I have dropped this thing at least 400 times in the last three years, I've accidentally gotten it soaked with diet coke and alcohol in my purse-which broke my phone, I've stepped on it, thrown it....it's NOT breakable unless you really try. I've also managed to crack the screen but since it's plastic it still works and you can't even tell! I paid 25 dollars for it when I bought it and it's been such a great investment. It also has an extremely long battery life (you can probably leave it on for a week) and charges up from dead in an hour or two. The ONLY downfall is that it has such little memory (about 400 songs for me) but they also have more expensive ones with better memory. I haven't really used the micophone or video playback, but the radio is good (better than my car one) and the options on the music list (like increasing how fast/slow songs go and changing the sound from jazzy or rock) are awesome. If you break things a lot like me I definitely suggest it, even if it does look a bit ghetto. =P

Great for FM/FM Record
This MP3 player looks and feels pretty cheap, but it serves me well. I use this device for recording an FM college radio station late at night after I go to bed. They play their best tunes during the wee morning hours. It records for about 8 hours or so until the battery dies. I simply recharge it the next day, and I've got hours & hours of kick-ass obscure indie/alternative music etc. to listen to either in car (aux jack) or wherever I happen to be using headphones. Speaking of headphones, you'll want to buy them separately... the ones included are throwaways. Anyway, it also has pretty good FM reception for when you feel like tuning in. It has preset tuning (20 stations), but the buttons for tuning back and forth are a little cumbersome. It's also easy to accidentally alter a preset or change the frequency or preset # if you're not careful. One nice feature is that if you switch from recorded music to FM radio or vise verse, the FM record will pick up from where you left off. Or if you happen to accidentally skip to the end, and it starts over, it features a super high speed fast forward mode which will get you back to where you left off in less than a minute! I had an RCA model previously that didn't have these features... very nice to have. Paid $25 bucks... worth every penny. However, you probably won't want to be seen in public with this device... might get laughed at, which is why I only use it in my car. If you want something a bit more attractive/sleeker... go with the Ematic EM162VID. Not only is the design more attractive, the interface is much better, and the FM presets are more user friendly. Enjoy.
