Easy to assemble, looks nice, easy to use.

It’s better than I expected, but it’s not perfect. Very slim in size. Functions well. It looks great and much more attractive than the older style bulky ones. Because we have decorative rocks on the bottom of our fireplace, the brace legs don’t sit flat. Due to this, it throws off the stability of the screen so we had to add magnetic hooks to hold the frame to the fireplace. We have curious cats so their safety is extremely important. The handles on the gate stay relatively cool so it’s easy to open and access the fire control. The door magnets function but it remains to be seen if the cats will be able to open them. A simple lock will stop that though, and could be easily added by the end user. 4 months later: holds up very well! Cats are curious as expected but haven’t been able to open the doors! Updating from 4 to 5 stars.

We love it. It fits perfectly in our fireplace. We moved into a house last October and we have three cats and two dogs and I did not want them getting into the fireplace and this is low enough to the ground where they cannot get under it and it looks pretty cool too
