I live in the northern US, so worry about vitamin D levels for my babies. Our pediatrician always recommends supplementing our breastfed babies with oral vitamin D drops until they start table food. This was the most comprehensive lactation vitamin I could find, it met my need for an MTHFR friendly folate source, and was honestly much better-priced than most of what I found. I took this supplement the entire time my first (now 3 years old) nursed, and I was able to avoid supplementing him! Our pediatrician checked his blood levels at 3-4 months and said he was getting adequate supplementation through me. I'm now doing the same for my 2 month old. We'll get her blood levels checked soon, too, but I'm confident we'll have the same good results! No fishy burps or stomach upset, and my calcium levels are adequate to prevent bone decalcification (monitored due to arthritis and related concerns). My iron levels are great, too, and I'm usually anemic.

I’m feeling pretty good and making lots of milk so no complaints there. I find the blister packs easy to open-I push the hard vitamins through and peel back the foil to get the oil supplement out. Easy peasy.

I spent so much time looking for the perfect postnatal vitamins with everything I need without having to get a ton of different bottles and by far these are the best! Everything comes in one package, at a good price for such high quality vitamins! I have noticed a huge difference in the quantity and quality of my milk too! I recommend these to anyone I know that just gave birth and are nursing, they have been a HUGE help in my postpartum life and I’m so grateful for the lactation support these provide. I find the packaging super helpful especially if you travel a lot or like having them in your purse these are perfect! No buldgy bottles and the days already written on the packaging

Great vitamins. Although, my pee is bright green after taking them. Does that mean I am peeing most of it out? This does not happen with other food based vitamins I have. Either way, I take this because it’s easy and vitamin D drops not necessary for baby. Easy to travel with too and packaging is great. If your having trouble opening, make sure you fold the little end back and forth a couple of times before carefully peeling the backing off. After doing this, peel it slow and even, and you shouldn’t have that much difficulty.

I have been taking these vitamins for 3 days after my sons pediatrician advised me to take them since he is a preemie. After the first day my urine and breastmilk turned greenish and today my milk completely dried up. I am having to use my supply in my freezer to feed him from bottles while I try and get my supply back.

I’m happy with the vitamins and that’s what counts. It is such a relief to know I’m getting the right nutrients for my current situation. However, the packaging is atrocious and I have to use an exacto knife to get the pills out of the blister pack because the foil does not peel back easily. This is not ideal and I’m writing this review in the hopes the manufacturer sees it and considers improving it.

I like how they are organized but each days package is so hard to open that I get frustrated taking them every night. Also, the gel vitamin is stuck to the packaging so each night I have to carefully rip it out without letting it burst. Aside from the frustration-full packaging, I haven't noticed any difference since taking them so far.

Somewhat expensive. The vitamins themselves seem fine, no complaints there. But the packaging? Absolutely terrible. I honestly cannot get over how frustrating it is. Who thought it was a good idea to make something this difficult for already busy, exhausted new moms to deal with every single day? It feels like the company didn’t think this through at all. On top of that, the vitamin D gel capsule practically melts into the packaging, which makes it damn near impossible to get out without destroying it. The whole setup is just unnecessary hassle. Theralogix, please figure out a better system. Until then, I’m not sure I can justify sticking with this brand.
