Worthless ... donโt buy
This does not fit a Mossberg 500/590. The holes are milled wrong. The pin screw is a tad too wide. Missing nut. This was a waste of time and I should have believed the warnings that this was a flawed design. I returned and purchased the TacStar Sidesaddle. Made in USA and made right.

best deal on a side saddle i have seen!
price awesome, no fitting no modding to any thing! installs in about 5mins! I put this on a shockwave 590, but i also tried it on a 500 and it fit perfect. I will be back to buy another, and highly recommend it to any one looking for a sidesaddle.

Buy If You Only Want Shells On Your Gun
I attached this on my Mossberg Maverick 88 and it was a pretty easy and quick installation. At first the shell holders were tight when trying to fit in a 3โ shotgun shell but after some wear and tear itโs easy to load now. Accompanied with my buttstock shell carrier i can hold a total of 17+1 shells on just the shotgun itself. The only downside is no rail system like other products do meaning you canโt have any attachments like a sight or flashlight.

Similar to other reviews, counter sunk holes are wrong. Not enough screws supplied.
Like other reviews, the one I recieved had the countersink holes in the wrong side of the plate. A longer screw fixed this issue, though I had to make it work with what I had on hand. Mine also only had 4 "carrier screws" instead of 6. While 4 at the corners will hold the item in place, overall I'm left feeling that this entire thing was much more difficult and had the wrong pieces. Once in place I started feeling better. It holds the shells tightly and feels securely mounted despite the improvised mounting. If this package came with all of the pieces and was correctly manufactured, it would be a 5/5 star product.

Defective, counterbores on wrong side. Wonโt work.
The product is defective. The counterbores on the mounting plate are on the wrong side of the plate. Making the screws provided too short to work and the plate interferes with the carrier. I ordered 2 and both were defective.

Great option for the money.
For the money this is a great option for a tactical/home defence shotgun. The mounting was pretty straightforward. The shell holders were a little tight at first but I just kept shells in them for a while and now they are a little more pliable.

I used this on my sulun Arms Tacsoras
It's a cheap alternative to the insane prices in Australia for a sidesaddle. It's made well, and using double-sided grip tape works great.

Does not fit Mossberg 500
This side saddle DOES NOT fit Mossberg 500. The countersink holes are on the wrong side of the plate and the provided screw isn't long enough to get a nut on without the countersink.

Must have for your Maverick/500
Installed on my Mossberg Maverick 88 perfectly. Quality is great for the price and the shells stay in tight unlike previous ones I've tried.

Probably meant for a left hand shotgun.
The product is good, I did notice that the plate that attaches to the gun has the indents for the bolts on the wrong side luckily the plate can be turned over I just had to pick up a longer 8/32 bolt. It fits well and does the job but it was probably meant for a left hand shotgun. Another option is to mount it with double sided tape.
