I would have liked it better if the five inserts had arrived as promised. The package I received only contained four, so 20% less than promised. I wrote to the company and they haven't responded so clearly their attitude to customer service matches their ability to pack the promised product. The product itself seems sturdy so far and I've used the four bats without incident but I wouldn't buy anything from Penguin again.

Se ven muy bien y si me queda muy bien a mi torno. Perfecto para Shimpo. Aunque viene defectuoso, ya que un orificio está hecho más grande. Afortunadamente el otro está bien y con eso se sostiene, pero aun así lo considero defectuoso.

Total waste of money. Bat pin holes were not drilled properly, and the bats don’t fit snugly. Furthermore, the gaping spaces where the inner bats are placed let water and clay down onto the wheel head.

I originally bought a Penguin Pottery bat system in 2021. I found that several of the inserts did not fit into the main bat. I used it a few times and stored it away. I tried it again a month ago with the same results. This time I emailed the company to ask about what I could do to remedy the problem. They responded the same day and two days later my new bat system arrived. I wasn't aware of their lifetime guarantee on all of their products. Customer satisfaction is their priority and the replacement is perfect. I will buy again from this company anytime I need a product that they sell. I wish I could give them 10 stars!!
