You really need a scissors to cut the cubes as they tend to tear, but they work perfectly for starting fires in our woodturning stove. When we run out we'll come back to buy more of these. Great value!

I had to burn up a lot of garden waste, much of which was damp from a period of wet weather. I used several blocks to get the fire going and it all worked out well. I'll use them again in the future for more outdoor burning.

These are my favorite fire starters that I’ve ever bought. The best part is the sheer longevity. I bought these probably 2 years ago, I grill more than the average person, and I’ve only used 3 of the 6 sheets. I use 1-2 every cook, whether I’m starting up a chimney of charcoal or starting some coals in a minion method or 2 zone/ smoking setup. They always get things started right up, and they’re easy to light. I was buying a new pack of the wax cubes or other alternatives every couple of months before I came across these. Love the all natural aspect also.
