Haven’t had them very long at all. Would be nice to be able to replace a battery. **Q: any suggestions on how to keeping it from moving/shifting if placed flat on cement or a deck?** A: I don't think it would ever not move on cement mainly because cement is an extremely tough surface to get anything to adhere to. I would suggest VHB (Very High Bond) tape if I was going to adhere to a flat deck surface. In either place, it would still have a good chance of being kicked over or broken. They are in some light woods on a trail where we store materials for work. My man was having trouble backing up truck and trailer to load for the next day during the winter months when night comes early. I cut strips of sheet metal and epoxied the lights to them along with a reflector and screwed them into trees along the path. They worked perfectly for that and still do after a year. I also have some mounted as markers on a pole building we back trailers into after dark. They are still shining brightly when I get up at 5:30 AM. Ordering another set now for back up when the batteries eventually fail.
