This is a lovely book the cover looks so much nicer than in the picture, it is easy to read as the print is quite large , I'm pleased I chose this one. I can't compare to any other bible as this is the only one I've bought.

Update: Wording is a comfortable size with my reading glasses. All seems good quality. I'm just beginning my journey on the road to Christ. A perfect choice for a novice.

Throughout my life, I have always wanted my own Bible, and I am most satisfied with this one. The binding and front cover are made of faux leather, which is beautiful to look at and hold. The text is clear and easy to read, although the pages are quite fine, so they should be handled with care. This Bible includes both the Old and New Testaments, and the pages are delicately woven together. It features subtle gold accents, which add elegance and grace. Holding this beautiful Bible brings me a sense of peace. The text is printed clearly, allowing me to focus on reading without any hindrance from small print. I feel delighted to have my very own Bible, crafted with care and quality. The pages of this exquisite Bible are intricately woven together, creating a sense of harmony and unity. Adorned with a subtle yet striking gold trim, it radiates elegance and grace, making it a truly special possession. As I hold this beautiful Bible, a deep sense of peace washes over me. I'm reviewing this particular edition, not the bible! There's a preface with a very clear explanation of the approach to translation taken to arrive at the ESV. I chose the purple cover, it's very attractive and feels really nice to hold. I think it could easily get marked if reading with unclean hands, though. Crossway guarantee this bible will last a lifetime without failure due to manufacturing defects "during normal use". It looks and feels very well made and has sewn binding. As always with the bible there has to be a trade-off between paper thickness and portability. The paper is very lightweight, so I doubt it would withstand being thrown about thoughtlessly on a regular basis. Nevertheless it feels pretty sturdy. It came in quite a thick card sleeve and I am choosing to keep it in that as long as possible, for an extra bit of protection. My favourite things are the print size and clear font, they make it so easy and enjoyable to read, without losing the sense of history about the original and ancient texts. There are comprehensive footnotes to clarify terms and reference why certain words were chosen as the best translation in the context. There's a "weights, measures and monetary units" section at the back and an index. I'm very happy to have chosen this version, I feel that with a little care it will last a very long time, it looks lovely and most importantly the way the text is presented makes it easy to read and understand.

Very nice and good to read Bible!

I love this Bible! The color is incredible - just what I was wanting. And the print size works well for me. I have noticed, though, that the paper is quite thin so when I highlight something, it does bleed through a bit onto the other side of the page. The price was really good, compared to other Bibles I had been looking at and I am very happy with it!
