Review: Didn't realize how stupid these were - I can't believe I spent over $100 for this crap. I went to Home Depot and picked up 4 air tool quick connects with the 1/4 inch npt, pulled off the adapters from my regulators and screwed in a quick connector. I used a hydraulic hose crimper and a couple hoses to make 2 double ended male hoses and then bought a tap and die set both right and left hand from ebay for 9/16 thread and tapped out a couple female quick connectors and screwed them to the torch body. Flashback arresters on both ends of the hose and a check valve for good measure, and it works like a charm. Can turn the pressure up to whatever and it doesn't leak, connect the torch to the hose and then hose to the tank, and I have another torch body the same design but with a propane tip on it, so I turn off pressure, pop the oxygen hose off, put it into the other torch and set pressure and bam. Best part is I have the capability to make 10 more of these $5 per fitting. Now the two packs of these I wasted a bunch of money on are just rolling around in a drawer. I think one of them got sent to the scrap yard when I threw away a drawer full of brass and similar fittings. Review: A must have - This product is a must have. The quick connects work flawlessly in the rough environments I put them in. Easy to use and it makes the task of switching between torches a ease.
