Review: Ottimo strumento, ma con qualche limite Ho acquistato il FLUKE Networks LinkIQ Cable+Network Tester per verificare e diagnosticare problemi nella mia rete aziendale, e nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto delle sue prestazioni. Questo tester è incredibilmente utile per identificare problemi sui cavi Ethernet, testare la velocità della rete e diagnosticare configurazioni di switch e access point. L’interfaccia è intuitiva, con un display chiaro che mostra risultati dettagliati, e la possibilità di generare report è un grande vantaggio per documentare il lavoro. Tuttavia, ho trovato che il prezzo sia un po’ elevato rispetto ad alcune funzionalità che mi aspettavo fossero più avanzate, come un’analisi ancora più approfondita di certi protocolli di rete. Inoltre, la portabilità è buona ma il dispositivo potrebbe essere più leggero per un uso prolungato sul campo. Nonostante questi piccoli difetti, rimane uno strumento affidabile e professionale che ha semplificato il mio lavoro di troubleshooting. Lo consiglio a chi ha bisogno di un tester di rete solido, ma con un occhio al budget.

**Q: What CDP info does this unit display?**
A: It shows the switch and port number.  We are a Cisco shop for our network, so I can't speak to how it works with other switches.

**Q: Does this cable tester come already calibrated?**
A: Yes but I have in mind this tester RJ45 is 10/100/1000 NOT 10G for testing 5g and 10g is virtual testing, the MS-POE is 10/100/1000/10G RJ45.

**Q: Can you print the results of your cable tests as a PDF doc?**
A: Yes you can print the results as a PDF

Ottimo strumento, ma con qualche limite Ho acquistato il FLUKE Networks LinkIQ Cable+Network Tester per verificare e diagnosticare problemi nella mia rete aziendale, e nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto delle sue prestazioni. Questo tester è incredibilmente utile per identificare problemi sui cavi Ethernet, testare la velocità della rete e diagnosticare configurazioni di switch e access point. L’interfaccia è intuitiva, con un display chiaro che mostra risultati dettagliati, e la possibilità di generare report è un grande vantaggio per documentare il lavoro. I bought this after much research and for a job I needed to do on an existing network. This Tester was worth more than I paid! It saved us so much time tracing unmarked cables on the network. If the drop is connected to a POE switch, the cable is difficult to trace with a standard toner and wand. With this, we connect at the far end and it told us what switch, switch port and vlan the cable is connected to. From there we just traced the patch cable to the patch panel to identify what to label the cable. The toner function, tester function work just as well. You also have the ability to save your tests so you can have a copy for the customer. The battery keeps a charge for a long time, even sitting for awhile. As i said, it paid for itself on the first job.
