They are well-made, sturdy, and do the job of minimizing seed mess. I would caution everyone to be sure that your bird is small enough to turn around in these to get out. I have two ringneck doves and I ordered the medium size (the largest they had). My doves took to them right away, having no issues figuring out how to get in them and access the food. Our problem was, when they finished eating from them the first time, they could not turn around to get out. I had to take them out by hand backwards because their tails were too long to fit inside the box to allow them to turn to get back out. This is the only reason I will need to return these, and it's no fault of the seller or manufacturer. I will be replacing these with the extra large bird baths and using that for seed instead, to still keep the mess at a minimum but have enough room for them to come and go. But I would highly recommend these for any smaller bird less than say 8 inches long or so.
