I bought this player when I saw that one of my all time favorite movies was on DVD but only in Region 2 which is European format and I live in the US. So I bought this DVD player so that I could order that and have it in my collection again. Let me tell you I have not for one second regretted that choice. It plays any disc perfectly, no vibration or noise from the player and the remote control works perfectly. I also love that you can adjust the brightness and contrast from the setup menu which is something that most portable DVD players on the market don't offer. I received the Region 2 DVD that I ordered yesterday and popped it into the player and it started playing immediately with no hesitation and the quality and sound were absolutely amazing. I also love the ability to watch a movie with or without headphones. I already have a friend from the UK sending me a box set of a British TV show that I like and I plan on ordering other DVDs from around the world now that I have the ability to watch them. Thank you for putting out such a good quality product for a great price!

I love the fact that this Blu-Ray player will play any region needed. I had ordered The Last Kingdom and my previous DVD player would not read the regional code. As the DVD came from the UK, I wasn't quite sure what to do. To return the DVD set would have cost me $155.00 so I decided to try and purchase a DVD player that would play all regions. OREI Region Blu-Ray player is FANTASTIC and I can now watch not only The Last Kingdom but any other DVD from anywhere in the world. The price was incredible and much less than returning the DVD set to the UK. I would recommend OREI to everyone. :o)

I bought this so I could watch some UK videos I’d bought. It’s not the greatest purchase I’ve ever made. But, for the price, it wasn’t worth the effort to get it all packed back up & get in a long line to send it back since I only use it for this one video set. If I had a whole library of overseas videos, I’d spring for something better. It WORKS, but kind of like a ballet dancer w/ a broken leg-it’ll grit its teeth & get through it with lots of encouragement, but it might not be pretty. The first thing I noticed was that it’s very loud-I don’t mean the volume of the video playing- I mean the machine itself. It’s like a tiny motor running. Fortunately, the video drowns most of it out. And, even w/ the brightness on max, it tends to be dark. It also doesn’t respond well to commands-or even coaxing. The remote has to be right on top of the sensor to work. I’ve had it about a month & the stop button has petered out. Now, I’m not saying don’t buy this product—it might be that I just got a dud. It does “work”. I have been able to get through the whole series, it’s just been like going to $1 movie night in college-just don’t expect it to be like watching a 3D Disney movie-AT Disney.

I had purchased several portable dvd players in past year. They were a disappointment, either making loud disturbing noises upon loading, or they were hard to hear. The sound quality of OREI is amazing and the machine works like one would expect it to. I highly recommend it.

Wow such good quality picture and ease of use and Jude Law in the New Pope season 2 is fabulous. ty for the adaptor plug in and the mechanism to let USA see it too.
