I picked these up for small DIY jobs around the house and they’ve been really useful for quick sanding without needing power tools. The sponge format is great for curves, edges, and getting into tighter areas. What I like Easy to grip + control: Much nicer than wrapping sandpaper around a block. Works well on corners/curves: The sponge flexes so you can sand awkward shapes and trim cleanly. Less messy than loose paper: Doesn’t fold/tear as easily and stays usable for longer on light jobs. Good for prep work: Ideal for scuffing surfaces before paint/varnish. Things to know (cons) Not for heavy removal: If you’re stripping thick paint or flattening rough timber, these are slower than a tougher sheet or electric sander. Wear varies: The coarser blocks hold up well, but the finer ones can clog quicker depending on what you’re sanding. Grit labelling matters: Make sure the grit is clearly marked (I check each block before starting so I don’t accidentally go too coarse). How I used them Surface: [wood / filler / painted walls / skirting boards / furniture] Job: [prep before painting / smoothing filler / sanding between coats] Wet or dry: [dry / wet] They stayed intact and didn’t crumble, and I liked being able to rinse off dust when they started clogging (if you wet-sand). Verdict Great little set for everyday DIY prep and tidying edges/corners. If you’re doing proper heavy sanding, you’ll still want sheets or a power sander, but for touch-ups these are very convenient.

Good quality and comfortable to use.

Absolutely fine when dry and sanded nicely but I got one wet and it immediately developed creases. Shame. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise. I checked description and it says you can use wet. You can’t.

4 sanding blocks with different grains and having used them to sand down a lot of different materials... I can say that the quality is brilliant and they're incredibly durable. Very impressive for the price.

Have Bought these a few times due to the fact they are so durable for hard jobs.
