I was initially worried about using them in the oven because of the anodized coating, but it doesn't seem to bother it in the least. Every pan still looks great! I've ised them on and off in many situations including deep frying and oven baked chicken. After reading other reviews, I have to say... why would anyone put a pan with a anodized coating in the dishwasher? IT WILL STRIP IT! Yes it says "dishwasher safe", but that doesn't mean you should. And why would anyone put a non-stick pan in the dishwasher anyway. Can't be that hard to clean in the sink. But I digress. I'm not sure I'll even try putting them in the oven (even though it says "oven safe"). I have a nice big stainless steel pan for that job. I don't have a big family to cook for so obviously this set will last me longer than someone who does.
