**Q: I see conflicting responses on whether the micro usb can deliver power out to a portable monitor. Which is it?**
A: Yes, it worked for me without issue, connect the provided 5V Micro USB power cable from the USB Port of the laptop USB to the DC5V input, and connect the USB-C output from Elebase to the portable monitor. If there is an issue with the USB port from the laptop because of low power output, use the 5V adapter provided with the package. I hope it helps.

**Q: Can this adapter be used like video capture device from camera to a mac?**
A: No, Macs or PCs with a Thunderbolt port cannot natively accept video inputs over USB-C; they can only output. You will need specialized hardware to do video capture.

**Q: I put all the lines correctly (usb c gen 2 cable and attach 5v usb 2.1a power cable). when set brightness 34 and over, my portable monitor reboot.why?**
A: Your usb power supply for the monitor is probably faulty or not actually 2 amp.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glitches when using with NReal/XReal, don't listen to the top review.

EDIT: My prior review was slagging off this product because of a glitch with Nreal where the top 10% of the screen was shifted to the bottom for some reason. If you're using it with Nreal, this is a known issue *with Nreal*, and is resolved via a firmware update. I went ahead and got the firmware update, and found that the issue was resolved. This product absolutely does its job, and I jumped the gun to assume otherwise. So, why am I leaving it at 4 stars rather than 5? No audio transfer (don't think it can really be helped, due to hdmi to usb c being presumably wonky in that regard), and the box it came in was beaten up and a tad sketchy.
