This item came new in original packaging with literature. While the compatible aftermarket batteries and chargers are cheaper and work well, Milwaukee batteries seem denser and hold a longer charge (and take a little longer to charge) than the aftermarkets. My Milwaukee chargers will charge the aftermarket batteries and vise versa. I find the original Milwaukee batteries are best suited for tools that pull a lot of power such as impacts and saws whereas the aftermarket batteries work well for lighter duty, occasional tasks. This charger and battery set was a great value as my local hardware store can’t sell this item for what I paid and had delivered to my doorstep. The Milwaukee 6Ah Red Lithium batteries have more than enough power and reserve capacity for my needs. I’m very satisfied.

Great product. Doesn’t come fully charged but charged fairly quickly for the first time and held a charge for a very long time.

I was leery that these would not be the true Milwaukee. Battery and charger, but they are and work as they should. Battery holds a good charge. Charger works well. At a great price, I bought it on sale.
