the 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch has a diagram showing that the end you attach your garden hose to is 3/4 inch. Is this the correct diagram?

The one I received is 1/2 pipe thread inlet with 3/4 in male hose thread outlet. This is standard size for garden hose, washer fill hoses, etc. It says 1/2 inch MHT, but I have never seen or heard of such a thing.

i'm interested in using this for a drink dispenser. is there a rubber seal at the gate?

There is only a rubber seal under the turn-off valve. Nothing on the hose end or spout.

does this have an internal restriction?
