I tried this with premier vanilla protein shake, ice then blended it up added some whip topping and it tasted just like a root beer float very yummy.

This "syrup" was more of a flavored water than a soda syrup. The flavor itself was ok, but you had to use so much of it to even get close to good enough flavor. And on top of all this, no returns or refunds allowed on this product? AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!

For no sugar, it’s not bad, but not good. Putting extra Syrup on makes a little change but there is an aftertaste that I do not appreciate

Root beer syrup is very tasty goes over vanilla ice cream very well. That leaves ice crystals it tastes like root beer.

I bought the hip syrups sugar free egg nog (added to coffee) years ago and loved it. The sugar free root beer for hawaiian ice and the flavor was diluted and the syrup hardened upon during, even though my sugar free Torani and DaVinci didn't freeze. Disappointing, as I couldn't find sugar free root beer in any other brand.

Pros: - I bought this to make root beer with my off-brand soda-stream thing. It's a pretty solid tasting diet root beer flavor in that regard. Cons: -Literally took a month to get, which hey, if you think ahead enough that isn't the worst thing in the world. I remember a time where "4-6 weeks" was the normal wait for a product. But still, for a bottle of soda syrup, it was a little long. - The bottlecap was broken when it arrived. Thankfully only a little of the syrup managed to leak out, but still, the priority mail envelope they used as packing material didn't quite protect it as much as it needed. - I honestly don't think this is saving me any money vs. just buying a bunch of Barq's Zero Sugar whenever it is on sale. Combine that with the fact that it isn't a concentrate, so this whole bottle is probably good for I dunno... 6 liters (and I don't even need it THAT sweet, but watered down rootbeer is just...not ok), I just can't see myself getting this again. No hate to the company, I think it's a decent little product, and I could see other uses for it making it worthwhile, hence giving it at least 3 stars. But otherwise, it's just a little disappointing.

It doesn't taste bad, and it does taste like root beer, but I needed to use a lot, like a 1:1 mixture, to get enough root beer flavor.
