I don’t know how it does it, but that pad is cool to the touch even in my hot room when I don’t have the AC on my kitty loves it!

Six outdoor kitties who emerged from my forest, took over my porch and "adopted" me brave hot, South Georgia heat by "Siesta-ing" on the cool concrete porch backed up to my metal home. I bought this item and have placed it all over the porch, including their favorite "nesting" areas. NOT ONE is interested in it. A couple times I found one or two resting on it, trying it out. But otherwise, it's just a non-issue for them. And I'm surprised because it feels a tad cooler than any other "pad" that I've placed out there, and seems like it would work. Not even the one "Invader Kitty" (a fierce male who is trying to "Trump-Bully" the rest) is interested.

The weather has been sooo hot. My cat enjoys it and I bought the large one for me. It's great.

It was ok. Kitty only used it for couple days. It was too warm. If we left it out, it would get pretty warm. It's a bit smaller than I thought. But, it is durable & cute. We put an ice cooler under it & would stay cool for few hours.

Although not as hot as some places, the weather here in Southern CA has been quite warm. I have two cats. Both indoor cats and I have no AC. The heat has disturbed their eating and sleeping habits. They are always looking for a cooler place - usually under my bed or bureau. I cannot afford the rise in electricity portable fans cause so I decided to try this NWK cooling mat. When it arrived I was quite skeptical. The packaging was weird - it arrived in a plastic bag and it had a handmade label on it. No instructions. And the cats wanted nothing to do with it - at first. After 24 hours, Elliot has not left the mat except to eat, drink and use the litter box. It does feel cool to the touch. If things continue going this well, I will have to buy another as this mat will not accommodate both cats. So far so good.

I don’t know how this works but it does! I have a cat that lives outside on a screen porch. He started sleeping on the mat right away. He feels cooler. Our other cats like to sleep by a window but it is as too hot. Now they fight over the mat!

Truthfully, when I first opened it I was 'oh come on'. It seemed about 4 pages of paper thick! But after 2 days it was fully 'plumped up' and substantial enough. And I could see where the areas were that gave it the cooling effect. My cat even sleeps on it sometimes now for her afternoon nap. To me it was a Very good investment.

We have an outdoor cat, who never wants to be inside for long. Living in the South, I wanted to give him some relief from the heat. I thought he would use this all of the time, as he constantly uses a cat heating pad during the winter. But, he never laid down on it, as it didn't seem to really cool all that well. Honestly, I would look for another product.

Does what it says , works as a cooling mat, light , small , easy to fold , no rustling. Easy to clean, my kitten loves it

My cat doesn't want to lie on it. It is too thin and too soft as a mat.
