Perfect. It has enough molds for half a chess board. Colors will be consistent.

Easy to pour and the pieces come out great, just remember to get all the air bubbles out before the resin sets, easiest way is to use a pipette

I have used these types of molds for a while and I was highly disappointed when the pieces came out with a matte finish over the glossy finish on the pieces. If you look at the pieces on the right you will see that they do not have the glossy finish. It’s an issue because I wasted the resin in order to make a set of pieces that match in their shine. Now I have mismatched pieces because of this. If you look at the Order page the examples are glossy, as you can see, they don’t come out that way. I looked into the mold and they have a dull finish. They turn out as expected and they are heavy enough so they don’t tear easily when de-molding. Sorry but not very happy with the product as advertised. You should tell your customers that they are not going to come out with any shine. Follow Up: So Customer service contacted me and actually offered me a refund. I used the refund to buy another set, that way I would have chess sets that matched in regards to glossiness. Great customer service and happy to make a purchase again.

I thought that they might be more on the flimsy side but I was wrong they are very durable and easy to use although de-molding can be a little bit tough but like i said they are durable so no need to worry about tearing.

I previously bought the chess board mold which came with a set of chess molds and have never had an issue! I recently purchased this set so I can finish a whole chess set at once instead of waiting for the pieces to dry. I've been using resin for quite some time. I followed all of the directions and the pieces even cured for longer than required because I had life happening lol. 1st mold ripped completely when I tried to demoled it. Got a few more completely put no issues. But then the last 2 ripped and even one of them the mold was stuck completely to the resin piece.. I have never ever seen that happen before. Totally cheaply made amd not worth the purchase.

Love these chess piece molds! They stand up straight on their own and are nice and strong… all of them were easy to demold with the exception of the King and Queen… they get stuck at the middle where this lip is… I found that if I rolled the mold down instead of just trying to pull the piece out, and used some WD40 as a lubricant, they would pop right out! I made a set using UV Resin… I hate waiting 24 hours for things to cure when they are this size,,,I cured them in layers as well… except the pawn, I could fill them up and cure them all at Once… took about 45 minutes total time to cure everything properly using the uv resin …. I also made a set with 4 hour demold Resin when I cured up a checker/chess board… that way I had two complete sets of pieces to go with the board,,, the board was the same brand as the pieces I’m reviewing now… over all, these chess pieces are excellent … they are sturdy, easy to demold, and did not warp out of shape demolding them… I am going to order another set so that I have two complete sets and some extras since I got one set with the board mold… Highly recommend!!!
