Review: Illustrations Are Not In Canadian Currency - My son loves these math start books. This one is pretty good, it teaches counting out change. The only thing that I didn’t consider would be that the illustrations of the money are that of american currency. They also have pennies which is a bit outdated for our currency. My son is still enjoying the concept and the different looking money isn’t spoiling the overal lesson. This book is really well thought out and enjoyable to read.

Cute book
This book is a great way to introduce counting money with children, especially if you take the time to pause your reading to count if the children in the story have the right amount with coins. It’s also a really cute story about kids getting their face painted.

Great Book
The book was great a read. I love the concept of teaching kids how to identify coins and count. I love the colors that was used to illustrate the pictures. I also like that the author referenced additional books with similar concepts to read and the glossary at the end.
