I have been using Meross accessories for over half a decade, and at this point I can honestly say I have had a consistently great experience with the brand. Because of that, I felt very comfortable picking up the Smart LED Strip Lights that work with Apple Homekit, and I am very glad I did. First of all, these lights look awesome. I installed them to illuminate my bed, and they completely changed the feel of the room. The lighting adds a really clean, modern atmosphere and makes the space feel much more cozy and intentional. Whether I want softer lighting in the evening or just want the room to have a more stylish look, these light strips do exactly what I was hoping for. The effect around the bed is especially nice because it gives off a sort of ambient glow that feels both relaxing and visually impressive without being overwhelming. Another big plus for me is HomeKit support. As someone who uses Apple devices and values smart home integration, having these work with Apple HomeKit is a major benefit. It makes controlling the lights easy and convenient, and it fits naturally into the rest of my setup. I really appreciate products that do not make smart home functionality feel like a chore, and that has generally been one of the strengths of Meross products in my experience. I did run into an issue, and I think it is important to mention that honestly in a review. What stood out, though, was not just the issue itself, but how helpful customer support was in dealing with it. Their team was responsive, clear, and easy to work with. They took the problem seriously and made the process feel much less frustrating than it otherwise could have been. Good customer support matters a lot, especially with smart home products, and Meross absolutely delivered there. That experience also reinforced why I have stuck with Meross for so long. I had an issue with my Meross device and reached out to customer support, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Jamie responded quickly, clearly explained the process, and immediately set up a replacement shipment for me. The product is really good. I bought it because of the Apple HomeKit compatibility. The lights are well and they show all the colors. However, it still has some flaws. For example, one part of the light strip suddenly stopped the red light, and the connector to put two of these together also sometimes disconnects some colors. Also, sometimes it disconnects from Apple HomeKit, but I think that can be fixed with a later firmware update. The rest is excellent

I have tried other brands of lights if go cheaper the consistency of the lights, ease of set up is not nearly as good. The only issue I had with these is that I bought them "used" and I had to do a hard reset to set them up

I purchased 2 of these light strips, having had a great experience in the past with Meross smart plugs and Apple HomeKit. Unfortunately my experience with these light strips was the exact opposite. First I had to disable 5GHz WiFi in order to pair the strips to Apple Home (the Meross app wouldn't recognize them). When I was finally able to pair one strip, it would no longer work as soon as I paired the second strip. I went through the process of resetting and re-pairing both light strips for literally 2+ hours but I could never get them both to work at the same time. When I did get one to work, it would stop responding within minutes. I finally gave up when one of the strips refused to pair at all. Very frustrating and disappointing! I purchased some Eve light strips instead (also HomeKit compatible). It took me literally 10 seconds to pair them and they work great! Highly recommended so far!

First the pros: I had no problem at all getting this up and running 5 minutes after unpacking it. I had already installed the Meross app on my Android. It paired up in just a few seconds and I was changing colors immediately. A quick google search also showed that I can pair it with Smartthings by connecting the Smartthings app to the Meross app (Smartthing will not discover the Meross device itself). But the integration was seamless and I have a little more control in Smartthings than I do in the Meross app, oddly enough. In addition, the commands from Google Home work great. So I'm very happy with the technical aspect of the integration. I WOULD be nice to have a white LED, but I knew it didn't going in. The problem I have, however, is that depending on your application, installation can be limited. For example, there's a cut line every 3rd light instead of between each light. This equates to about every 100mm they can be cut. Now, I'm installing these above a central area in my kitchen in a rectangular pattern, and running them inside some aluminum channels designed for LED strips. The first right angle I was able to use a right angle connector, but the 2nd one fell right between the cut lines. I ended up "folding" the corner (which you're not supposed to do) and it works, but something to be aware of. The power supply transformer is about 1.125" x 1.625" x 3" in size, so plan accordingly. My other complaint is that the "smart" portion of this device is a small box that has the "in" and "out" wires on the same side of the device, rather than in from one direction, and out the other direction (see photo). The "out" wires are something like 10" long, so the smart box needs to be very close to your actual light strip. It makes for messy wiring, to the point I built a small MDF box to cover everything which will then be painted. I think a better solution in the wiring would be where the user can cut the length of wire they need for both in an out and attach it into the smart box Would I buy this again? Probably not. I might look to see if Meross has solved some of these issues with other lights they sell, because I really do like their integration into the various apps and smart home devices.

Easy setup. They work reliably with HomeKit. 1.5 years with no issues. A great value.

Light up as it described, doesn't need any APP, just using apple homekit, scan and it will connect. Light is bright enough, was hoping to buy this for my bedside lamp replacement to save more space, indeed it is bright enough,however if you're looking for a lamp that can fully brighten up the room, you may need to buy more than a few,it's still slightly dim. Pros: wont need to download app if you use homekit Ahesive strong control is easy to comprehend also a switch button in case phone doesnt work level of luminous is around a bedside lamp cons: not suitable if you wanna bright up a room

I’m really impressed with the meross Smart LED Strip Lights! Setup was a breeze — connected to Wi-Fi without any issues, and the app is super easy to use. I love that it works seamlessly with Alexa and Google Assistant, so I can control the lights with just my voice.

Es bueno para la calidad-precio. Batalle un poco para sincronizarlo con el wifi pero una vez que se logró no ha fallado. Funciona bien con Home de apple y siri.
