This works really well on my magnetic stirrer, and it's a great volume (storage) to work with. Easy to clean, easy to use daily, wish the volume markers were on both sides of the container. I really like the glass, and it seems to hold well with use, no scratches and is still clear.

I bought three of these and they are very nice beakers, solid, heavy glass with nicely formed spouts. They are slightly concave on the bottom and I know some people don't like that but I don't see a problem with it. My only complaint is that they were packed in a cardboard box with no cushioning at all, no bubble wrap or even paper so they were loose and moving around in the box. None of them were broken or damaged but I can see how that could be a problem packed the way they were. This is the second time I bought Karter beakers and I will definitely buy this brand again.

This beaker exceeded my expectations! It is light weight, durable, easy to clean and the price can't be beat. Applying extreme heat and chemicals for several hours has not affected the borosilicate glass clarity and remains easily to clean no matter what harsh chemicals are used in it, always looking brand new. The fonts and graduations remain clear and in place through several uses. This a quality product that I would recommend to anyone doing science experiments or lab work that involves high heat.

I use low-form beakers for my sourdough starter and lavains. While I prefer the smaller compact size of PYREX’s 250 ml, the Karter seems to be of decent quality. Maybe a bit thinner than PYREX, but for my use it is fine.

I bought this to use as a glass container for making smoothies with an immersion blender. Works great for 8 oz liquid + protein powder. I will buy another one in the next larger size to use as well. It would have been helpful to have an image showing this 500 ml beaker beside a quart bottle, or to have included some other reference to the approximate volume of 2 cups.
