It is exactly as it is advertised.
This is a power cord for a Panasonic laptop. Our original cord was "fried" with a lightning strike. Tried to find a cord from the Big Box store "Geek Squad" . The clerk did not even try to help us, but pointed us in the direction of the" universal" power cord "guranteed to fit all makes and models". It plainly stated on the box the only brands that it fit, and ours wasn't listed. In addition, it cost $75. In two days we received exactly what we needed that would fit and for only $34 -- of course, from Amazon. As soon as the box was open, our laptop was "back in business". Who needs the Geek Squad? I only need Amazon!!!!

dangerous item! Started smoking.
4 months later almost started a fire. I was sitting at my desk and kept smelling burnt electronics, eventually realized it was the charger left a burn mark on the floor. Laptop is fine, I own a second one of these that still works, computer charges fine using same outlet. I am throwing the other one away also as a precaution.
