Luvan Glass Measuring Jug (1L, 4 Cup) for Kitchen or Restaurant, High Borosilica Material,Easy to Read

I bought this to mix a days worth of Huel and it does the job really well. The markings on the side are clear and detailed in several measurements. My only bug bear is that as I’m left handed the marks are only on one side - a right-handed side! The jug pours fairly well too. Overall a good purchase.

I have just broken this jug and discovered that the base glass is very flimsy, a lot thinner than the rest of the item. Therefore I do not recommend this jug.

I find this a very useful, helpful jug. I love the fact that it has cup measurements as well. I use the metric for when I’m making things like kombucha, and the cups for mixing pancake or waffle batter direct in the jug. I would score it 3 stars, because it breaks easily compared to other glass measuring jugs, but as there is nothing comparable available (the only other jug with both sets of measurements is too small for my purposes), and it is so useful and makes my life so much easier, even when it breaks I order a new one. I’m on my second now, and I know that if there’s still nothing similar available when this one breaks I’ll buy it again.

Was delighted with this - it is attractive and seemed good quality and well made. I wanted something nice and didn't' select the cheapest available. Unfortunately the markings washed off very quickly in the dishwasher. Perhaps it isn't dishwasher safe? If so that is ludicrous for such an item. It is now useless!

I replaced my old plastic measuring jugs with this lightweight glass one as it easy to read and over all good value for daily use. The large Handle is a good size for pouring and the glass seems good quality. It’s pretty versatile for other uses and gravies, mixing and simply transferring liquids accurately. Very happy indeed

This is supposed to be borosilicate glass which can withstand sharp changes in temperature. In the manual it says the jug cannot do this also not to wash it in the dishwasher as the markings will wear off. In the description it says dishwasher safe. So I feel rather disappointed. I bought it as I wanted a jug with cup measurements on it. The glass also seems very thin.

I love this measuring cup - I am doing a lot of mixes and the different measurements are awesome. I also purchased another brand to compare them. This is the biggest one I have so I will be using it a lot! I love the fact that it is glass BUT note that it is not for lab or stovetop- and it has a warning for when using it with hot water and of course no sharp temp changes ! It also states that even though it is dishwasher safe - scale marks May come off so it is suggested to wash by hand. So if you’re looking to use is for teas or any kind of lab work it is not suitable for that. I hope this review helps someone with the details.

Good quality, easy to use. Really handy having the 3 different size jugs. Very pleased with my purchase
